Supposedly Yugioh now uses a 3-0 banlist

tl;dr This topic is useless and Arm is an idiot.

Aside from that...

I've been thinking recently, about if Yugioh started using a 3-0 list
(What is this, YCM 2009? shoosh. That's irrelevant).
Aside from the fact this would mean a more strict banlist in general, but at the same time it would remove any and all sorts of mentalities the game has over depending on stronger cards, and actually bothering to fill a deck with actual substance, and not so much playing a deck that consists of 99% staples and 1% actual deck, because the same logic of that can be applied to everything else, and just makes things rather stale as a whole. Since in that regard, it comes down to whoever draws their better cards first, and disregards everything else; This throws the game into nothing more then a luck-fest and doesn't even reward anything. Aside from that, if, say, the game actually would run on a 3-0 basis, then it comes down to fending for yourself and coming up with your own means of how you wish to progress through a duel and achieve your goals the way you see fit. Since at the same time, because the game is played out in such a manner, it would lead to more variety and potentially a more creative environment as far as deck building/dueling goes.

Of course, none of this would be set in stone, per say, but you get the idea.

Discuss this concept.

For a while it was that way with just newer cards, but now it's all plans based on that you will draw this card and use it for this, instead of formulating strategies on the fly.
