heraldry_lord
CXyz Coach Lord Ultimatrainer [Rank 9/FIRE/Warrior/Xyz/Effect/ATK 3800/DEF 2300] 4 Level 9 monsters This card cannot be targeted by card effects. If this card has an Xyz Monster as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect. ● Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; draw 1 card and reveal it, then if it was a monster, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. This is one of the better, if not the best, CXyz we have currently; his effect becomes live with any Xyz Monster attached and not just Giantrainer (which still amazes me, considering what they did with the other CXyz), and he gives you a draw to partially make up for the cost of bringing him out. He would have been amazing if his effect wasn't OPT, in my opinion, but I like it nonetheless. Also, and this is the best part about him, he has targeting immunity, and how about dat 3800 ATK. The biggest problem with Ultimatrainer, however, was that you needed Barian's Force to Summon him, which meant that you HAD to have either Felgrand or Giantrainer, and as awesomesauce as Felgrand is, you won't always have him around. You might have Number 62, Number 107: Tachyon Dragon, Heliopolis or any of the Gimmick Puppet Xyz instead. With the recent printing of Argent Chaos Force, this problem went away in the OCG, and you can now make this guy off any Rank 8. So what do you think? Canopy Star - Eon Sphere
Now that it is a hell of a lot easier to summon, if you're running RUM - ACF with Rank 8s, you may as well run this, Neo Tachyon and Cereal Grinder. All 3 are targets that have massive benefits in different situations, and can deal with targeting effects, Set cards, large monsters and all have a large field presence as well. Of course, if you were really brave you could tech Number C9 as well, just in case of having 2 ACF in your hand. Don't worry, only the adding back effect is once per duel, and you can deal 4400 damage in one turn (I think) if you do that. OT: One of the few Xyz that nets you direct advantage in the form of drawing cards. It says something about the power gap between Synchros and Xyz of this type that both Synchros with draw power (Librarian and Formula) are at 1, whereas the Xyz draw cards (Fairy Cheer, Gaintrainer, this) are barely used at all. Now it is much easier to use, but we'll see exactly how much.
Maeriberii Haan
Could win games on its own. Before Exciton, targetting immunity is quite powerful, and even after exciton, this can pack some mean punch. Definitely not a slouch.
玄魔の王
The fact he can use any Xyz Monster makes him really versatile, and his targeting immunity means a lot of decks can't deal with him.
evilfusion
I like how, unlike Giantrainer, you don't lose your Battle Phase to use the effect. It's got very solid ATK, only needs any Xyz attached to draw, and immune to targeting. Argent Chaos Force is making this look amazing now.
Goose
The 800 damage is sad because it makes you give up any secrecy on the card.
玄魔の王
The 800 damage is sad because it makes you give up any secrecy on the card. Doesn't mean they caan do anything about it. Though I feel the damage could have been higher - maybe half the ATK of the drawn monster?
evilfusion
Gimmick Puppets love this card so much with Argent Chaos Force. It's almost ridiculous how much damage this can churn out.
