If the equipped monster is used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon, you can treat this card as a monster with the same Level as the equipped monster and use this card as an Xyz Material. That said, the higher number of applications you mentioned is huge here. I can make a Rank 4 or 8 off one searchable Spell Card. Summon Wizard, tribute for this, activate, make LV8. Enjoy. evilfusion Posted December 24, 2013 Report Share Posted December 24, 2013 Advanced Heraldry Art, while an amazing card, is not a really fair standard to apply as to whether a card is too good for release or not. Let's look at the most basic combo for Re-Galaxy. Normal Summon Galaxy Wizard. Tribute it to search Re-Galaxy. Activate Re-Galaxy, targeting Wizard. You can now use Galaxy Wizard to become Level 8, or keep it Level 4. Either way, you can Xyz as 2 Materials. You have access to virtually any Rank 4, including the LIGHT specific ones, or for virtually any Rank 8. All because you played Wizard. Alternatively, you can use Accellight to grab Wizard from the Deck, or play Galaxy Expedition at any point to make the Rank 8 be anything up to Neo Galaxy and Giantrainer, or even No.88. Advanced Heraldry is restricted to Rank 4s because all Heraldic Beasts are Level 4. It needs at least a LITTLE prior set-up, plus Deck dedication to the theme, whereas Galaxy Wizard searches the card AND makes it live. No one will ever really just use Wizard and this as a tech, but Re-Galaxy does too much. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You mean make Felgrand for one card. Felgrand is actually comparable to Chidori because it's amazing. And it's what the quick play element of this card would be used for the most. Also just to say: Given that no Spell card has ever been printed where it uses itself as one of the Xyz material, it's a safe bet to say this won't get printed even if it wasn't really good. It'd probably be similar to how Xyz Reborn works. Except they haven't yet printed a card that indirectly mimics Xyz Material.
