THEGAME_
Charizard one of the most known Pokemon of all time and it's cause of its resilience and toughness shown throughout the Pokemon series. His special ability is simply too put plant monsters out of commission, enjoy :) [attachment=40588:image.jpg] Lore: Double this cards ATK when it battles a Plant type monster during the damage step. ATK/2400 DEF/1100 Rate only on creativity don't hate these cards ain't real use your imagination!! lol.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Given how the effect is worded right now, every time it battles with a Plant-Type monster, it keeps doubling its ATK power. So, let's add a restriction to that so it doesn't keep doubling itself forever (and fix your OCG while at it) When this card battles a Plant-Type monster: Double its ATK during the Damage Step only. Its stats of 2400/1100 for a Level 6 are alright, but the effect has some problems. Even with its ATK resetting to 2400 after it battles, it'll pretty much kill every Plant monster in this game with that 4800 ATK of his during the Damage Step [assuming you didn't augment its ATK with Equip Cards or something else]. Mind you, Plants are relatively popular so this will hurt them A LOT (you already noted this, however). Lower the ATK boost to 1000 or something. 3400 ATK is still enough to take out most, if not all, Plant monsters in the game, but not to the point that it'll deal extreme amounts of damage. I know you wanted to be graded on creativity only, but stat boosting effects are overdone at this point so on your part there, not too much (though it does target certain monsters). I'm not hating on this card, but just that the concept that Charizard has here is overused by a lot of RL cards (especially since it has no protection from being bounced/destroyed via effects) Just my opinion, but if you wanted to base a card on Charizard, you could play with the two Abilities he has game-wise (not counting the Mega Evolutions); though both would amount to some form of stat gain with drawbacks. Or to sum things up, it's a nice card but the effect needs to be toned down. ----- I'm grading this by RC standards (this is the Pop Culture section though, so I shouldn't hold you to the same standards that are expected in the higher forum). But that said, you still need to keep balance/creativity in mind; especially balance. I don't hate this card by any means, but you do need to give it a better effect/protection, because just like in competitive play, with only attack boosts to rely on (especially when limited to a certain Type, albeit one that sees enough play) and no protection against stuff such as Mirror Force and other cards that take things off the field, Charizard will meet an early end. Trebuchet MS
You hatin lol You have no idea whats hatin lol We're trying to help you improve this card's design so that it can be a little more balanced in actual game environments. And if I were to critique based on creativity alone, this won't score too well. Yes, it super-effectives Grass-Types, but I'm certain Fire attacks do super-effective damage on more type matchups. Would also be nice to see how you'd try to adapt either its in-game abilities or its Pokemon card game abilities.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
If you read the CnC I gave earlier, just giving it an attack boost against certain monsters doesn't cut it nowadays (especially when field removal is a thing and any form of stat boosting is already overdone). It may also help if you read Toyo/AIX's guides to cardmaking inside RC (again, this section isn't as formal as over there, but you should still read them anyway if you want to be known as a good cardmaker here [those guides are universal throughout the entirety of CC]). As a note to how stuff is generally graded, more weight is placed on creativity and whether or not it's balanced (pictures, not so much). Some members don't grade pictures b/c of the existence of the Written sections. @Gadj: Fire does deal 2x damage on Steel / Bug / Ice as well, but either way, I agree. Attempting to incorporate Charizard's abilities in the console games and CCG shows more creativity than simply making an attack boosting effect that works only on a single Type. I already made notes about using either its in-game abilities (both give extra ATK like what the TC has here, but require it/you, as the player in this case, to be low on HP/LP [Blaze] or to lose some HP/LP each turn [Solar Power]). I haven't looked at your Mega Charizard X thread yet (might take a look to see how that turned out). To reiterate Gadjiltron's post, the comments in here are to help you improve your card if ever released in a real situation. Just keep in mind that by posting a card here, you're asking for us to critique it and offer help on ways to improve it. If you still want to write it off as hating on the card (and again, Gadj and I aren't hating on it), then that's your choice; however be warned that your cardmaking won't get any better and people may avoid giving any form of comments on your cards. People post cards so that other people comment. Those comments can be positive or negative. Most of the time, people will try to help you make your cards better, which is what a lot of people tried to do. You simply disagreed, and said that your card is good. If you don't want people to critizice your cards, don't post them. It's really that simple.
