Inferno Knight, Disciple of the Burning Dragon
Level 4 / FIRE
Warrior / Effect
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) when a FIRE Dragon-Type monster is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard. Once per turn: You can banish 1 FIRE monster from your Graveyard to target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy that target. When this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos" from your hand or Graveyard.
1800 / 200

This card having 200 DEF shouldn't be too much of a problem, but then again, you can just as well only use it for its removal effect and not really care about the effect that recycles Blaster. Thoughts?

NUUU WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS!?

HOW COULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER GIVING DRAGON RULER'S SUPPORT? ? ? ? ? D':

Side Note: Nice picture btw :P

Because they're fine on their own. And since they're limited now and lack Ravine, they do not present such a threat anymore and thus, it's now acceptable to make support for them.

Yes but if you give them enough support they would be viable as a deck again. I am not worried about balance or the sort just the EVERYONE I SICK AND BORED OF THEM. That is my reason for not wanting to see them get support. They may need it but they don't deserve it.

Don't hate a deck because it's good.  Prophecies and Mermails are just as nuts, if not more, but they're not hated as widely, and if all you're offering is "oh you're just making support for an archetype ew" then you should withhold comments.

Now, for the card itself:  The first effect is pretty interesting, but I wouldn't see it used nearly as much as the Banish:  Destroy 1.  I feel like that effect should have a limitation, perhaps destroying something with lower or equal to ATK than the banished monster?  I digress.  The last effect feels a little unnecessary to me.

It is not so much that it is good, I didn't have much trouble against dragon rulers at all actually but the deck has been meta everywhere for far too long and I am just sick of it. I know I am not the only one who dislikes the deck.

Although I must admit I did go largely off topic with my ranting and apologise. I lost myself out of bitterness towards the archetype. Sorry.

The last effect dwells into the lore aspect of the card. I do not know how to explain it throughly, but it all goes like this: Inferno is Blasters disciple (hence the "Burning Dragon" in the cards name). He fights for his master, but if he counters an enemy stronger than him and it defeats him, he gives away his energy so his master (Blaster) could come fourth and destroy the threat.

Yeah, something like that.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee stop this! We've just got rid of rulers....and you start supporting them?!?! YOU INSANE!? You're worse than konami dude!

I already explained why it's acceptable to make support for the Dragon Rulers now. Now, if you don't have anything meaningful to say, piss off.

It's not acceptable dude! Imagine if konami would release rulers' support for good... everybody will start thinking, "ok, konami are nuts!". All inhabitants of solar system have been playing only rulers for months, so rulers now need to die for a very long time before even only the idea of supporting them rises up. What we need are new playable archetypes and supports for archetypes that truly need supports (because they never had the right support)

So how is a Blaster support card, that needs to be destroyed (aka it involves player interaction) to get Blaster onto the field (which is @1), which needs to be in your hand or Graveyard be able to do any real damage, at all? Fun fact, it won't. Stop overreacting.

Oh!  Well in that case, awesome.  I'm all for the flavor.

This is overall a pretty neat card. Blaster is a decent boss card on it's own, with it's solid 2800 ATK and that -1 pop effect that would set it up.

Really the problem with Dragon Rulers is when working as a team.

I would not banish Blaster at all for any reason with this focus.

Foolish Burial = Revive Blaster

Blue Flame Swordsman = Revive this card = eventually revive Blaster.

Blaster goes back to the hand to use it's effect again, discarding another copy of this guy that will in turn revive Blaster.

Plus, your monster has a Blaze Accelerator sort of effect build in.

The "ss from hand" bit seems rather cruel though, looking at how it is already solid enough with the above, now if your opponent doesn't Blaster back in hand, destroying it will give you this wall, and destroying THIS will give you Blaster back.

Overall it sounds hilarious though. It's build doesn't sound like the linear type (which is awesome).

EDIT:
Just noticed the 200 DEF. Sooo Firedog can search it and Rekindling can revive it only to result in a revived Blaster.

That's not too bad on it's own, but considering all of what the card can do as a whole, it might be a bit too nice of a support card.

IDK... I overall still like it though. I'd have to see it in action.
