When a monster declares an attack: If your opponent controls the monster, destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls, and if you control the attacking monster, banish all Attack Position monsters you control. The attacking monster must remain attacking and in Attack Position to activate and resolve this effect.

If the card sounded like a worst Mirror Force, it's because it IS a worst Mirror Force.

The idea is to try to retrain that effect.

Mirror Force is one of those first "punishes overextention" effects throughout the years, even if it's not really seeing much play nowadays, but what's a pretty much unanimous stand on this card is that it can't be at 3 because it's still an "OMG" kind of card.

So if Mirror Force did not exist, and instead this was made, I'm trying to give it an effect that would allow it to not touch the list.

It might not look too much worse, but so far I added a few new ways to have the effect disappear.

Cards like Zero Gravity will kill this one completely without taking any monster with it.

So will Book of Moon, Enemy Controller's cost, and any card that can move the monster away.

Utopia can also laugh at this card.

As you can see, it's plenty more fragile, while also having that other extra banishing effect. Why would anyone do that at all?

Well, now you can tech D.D. Destroyer without having to tech another card just for him, as well as trigger Zero Force in a moment of trollness.

Art by me~

Well, it accomplishes its goal as a watered down "Mirror Force" as you intended, and having another way for triggering other effects like D.D. Destroyer's, as you already mentioned, with the banishing effect is nice.

If anything, I would make a suggestion for the effect description because the "(whichever side is attacking)" PSCT you put in there is actually unclear, or at least I still find it confusing as for which effect would trigger if my opponent's monster attacks, and vice-versa. With common sense one can deduce that an opponent's attack will trigger the destruction effect, but since the effect is ambiguous it could very well be the other way around.

I would write both effects separately:

Activate 1 of these effects.

● When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls.

● When a monster you control declares an attack: Banish all Attack Position monsters you control.

The attacking monster must remain attacking and in Attack Position to activate and resolve this effect.

Bullet points would help so much. I still have hopes up for having the card maker have them someday.

The reason it sounds awkward is precisely because I lack bullets, though now that it's brought to light that the wording is not clear enough for some, I think I have an idea I'll go implement now.

Thanks for the comment.
