I Hate Snatch Steal
Magic set editor template can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7y65iuxc50kdj13/fluct+monster+mse.zip How to fluct summon: Sort of like a synchro summon, you send the monsters you control listed on the card to the graveyard and thier total levels must equal the level (red stars) of the fluct monster, then you special summon that fluct monster from your extra deck as a fluct summon. You can use monsters that won't reach the graveyard and/or trap monsters, but you cannot use tokens (because that's how I designed it), face-down monsters, or monsters that don't have levels (xyz monsters). Fluct monsters can be summoned from the graveyard/banished zone after being fluct summoned first. So what are those blue stars then? When a fluct monster is fluct summoned, its fluct level is equal to the number of blue stars it has. This fluct level is not an ordinary level, just like an xyz monster's rank isn't a level. This fluct level changes when effects and costs change it. However, it cannot be less then 0 or greater then twice the number of blue stars the fluct monster has (the number of blue stars is also referred to as an original fluct level). An effect that would reduce a fluct level of 2 by 3, would make it become 0 and a cost that would reduce a fluct level by 3 cannot be paid with a fluct monster whose current fluct level is 2. For "A Sample" above, you cannot activate its effect if its fluct level is already 0. A fluct monster's fluct level will start at 0 if it came onto the field in any other way besides a fluct summon. Any questions? update: this idea can be easily done with [contact] fusion monsters, like so: So I'm going to stop with making it a new monster type (or whatever you call it since monster type can also mean warrior, spellcaster ect). If anyone wants to make more fluct monsters, the template is up so please go right ahead.

Any questions? It's a cool idea, but it seems too similar to Synchro monsters. You can only fit 12 stars on a card, so you probably won't be able to make really high leveled Fluct Monsters if they have high Fluct Levels at the same time. I still like it though. A new Extra Deck type would open up a new level of strategic possibilities for this game. I also made an Extra Deck type of my own called 'Magi Monsters' on January 25th if you're interested. And yes, I also hate the spell card 'Snatch Steal'. :)

I Hate Snatch Steal
I've switched to making this a special subtype of [contact] fusion monsters, if anyone wants to make more fluct monsters, the template is up so please go right ahead.
