WHAT  <_<  !!

See, here's the thing...
The card Royal Oppression, in it's own right, is ridiculously one-sided and just became overpowered due to being abused in such a way. By this, I mean players would typically make their own game-winning move, then flip Oppression during the opponent's turn to, basically, seal the deal and win upon just that.
Your monster no only uses half the cost of Oppression, but also only works on the opponent's monsters; Hence, Dyson's post.

He's referring to the card Royal Oppression. That card is banned for a reason, and I don't like the idea of a Pendulum monster having such an effect while in its Pendulum Zone. TBH, the monster effects can be ignored since this card would be well used in its pendulum Zone. Overall, a card that demonstrates bad design that is based on a similar card that is banned. And if you are wondering why, you can Special Summon all the monsters you want and then play this. It prevents your opponent from doing much without suffering a cost. In short, it discourages player interaction.

The card is pretty silly IMO.  Idk if I'd call it an Oppression since your opponent pays the life, therefore it's more like "When your opponent SS's a monster: 400 burn", however, I think discouraging interaction in favor of something so volatile as burn is a pretty bad idea.

The monster effects are fine: Caius with a Six Sam clause.  Whatever.

Also, it needs an ATK and DEF.  I'd recommend 23-24 and 15-2k respectively.

Actually, the way that effect is worded, it's more like a Chain Energy for Special Summons (meaning the Cost is in the opponent's control. And yes, I know Chain Energy's LP drop is an effect, not a cost, but still). Still, the fact that it only affects the opponent and not both players is the most troubling part.

It'll probably be awhile before we get a generator for it (if ever), but I wanted to wait til more cards come out for it and I get a better grasp of it. Also the spell effect box is suppose to be slightly transparent, just a bit of nitpicking.

But from what I can tell Card wise, this isn't too bad. Nice job.

I like this better; now it is more of a Sargasso Battlefield than a Royal Oppression.

Now that is better, though it can still be argued that it becomes a Extra Deck version of Royal Oppression. However, this doesn't hamper player interaction as much as Royal Oppression, but it still does limit said interaction.
