ABC for worst YCMember.

I was just using the random thingy on the wikia, and was brought to this after a few less interesting things like 8-Claws Scorpion.

Anyways, are there any Decks out there other than Lightsworns and maybe Fableds that use this? It's a pretty neat way of recovering uh... is sacky the right word? bosses, like JD, Hyperion, and BLS (though BLS has TWRA, but that's only useful in Warrior Decks), but without many bosses that can be recovered with this and then slam onto the field to wreak havoc, it stops looking like a very good card. Oh, and it has a discard cost, which seemingly kills many cards such as this and LV.

I prefer Call of the Haunted if you think about it.

Two completely different cards, but a well timed CoTH gets the same end result without losing a card.

Works good with those guys that can't be CoTH though.

Call of the Haunted can't grab monsters that can't be SS'd from the grave, and can't be played the turn of drawing it.

I said that this was better for grabbing those guys.

There are times when you can't play this either. Like when that discard doesn't exist or would hurt you to do so...then again those cases are rare, so...

But yes I don't see this much outside of LS.

But I like that CoTH does the Summoning for you

In the case of JD it Summons itself. If another deck had an instant 3000 SS beater from the hand this would be used in it too, I think.

Reincarnation really only works in a select number of Decks, due to being a -1 that doesn't directly affect your progression. The Decks I see using it tend to be Lightsworn, as there are a number of cards they prefer in the Graveyard, rather than the hand, and several cards in their Graveyard they prefer in their hand.

That said, I love the card, as my old (terrible) beatdown Deck used it in its shiny foil glory. Because I wasn't that good, yet better than my competition.

Reminds me of one fun time I had with this card in my LS deck. I had 1100 LP left and a face-down Ryko, Opponent had Heliopolis and another Rank 8 out (don't remember which), and he kinda misplayed. He used his last material on Heliopolis and tributed the last card in his hand (it was a ball he never got to Summon and therefore was dead), but instead of targeting my monster, he targeted my face-down Safe Zone, which I flipped, and since when it gets destroyed it pops the monster it targeted, gg Heliopolis. I hadn't drawn a single JD all game and had 1 card in my hand, a dead Wulf. He attacked with his other Rank 8. It flipped my Ryko, and I targeted his monster, but he flips his OWN Safe Zone. I say fuck it, and mill. I MILLED ALL 3 JDS IN ONE GO. The chance of that happening is minuscule, but it did. I was shocked. I nearly scooped, but decided to continue, for the sake of sportivity. And then came my turn, and I drew Monster Reincarnation. I was like, is luck playing around with me? Anyway, I drew the card I needed, activate Reincarnation, pitch Wulf, get JD back, SS it, nuke, swing for game (he had 2400 LP left).

I use a copy of this in my magical merchant turbo, in fact, the discard cost is not even a issue, most of the cases i send a dead zephyros, spore, plaguespreader, dandylion, hell i dont even miss reborn with this card since most times the monsters i grab can ss themselves from hand. It is just not splashable in every deck as reborn was, but it can get the job done well, at least for me.

You cheated.

You can't chain to his effect if he designated targets. Heilopolis works like Tiaramisu. The selection happens at resolution.

Furthermore, he couldnt chain Safe Zone to Ryko. Damage Step shenanigans.
