Maeriberii Haan
Because screw you Hieratics, Artifacts is not a one-shot archetype like you.. Artifact Longinus Level 5 LIGHT Fairy-Type Effect Monster ATK 1700 DEF 2300 You can Set this card from your hand to your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card. During your opponent’s turn, when this Set card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. During your opponent’s turn: You can Tribute this card from your hand or field; this turn, cards cannot be banished. (This is a Quick Effect) Artifact Chakram Level 5 LIGHT Fairy-Type Effect Monster ATK 1900 DEF 2000 You can Set this card from your hand to your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card. During your opponent’s turn, when this Set card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. During either player’s turn, when a card or effect is activated that would destroy a Spell/Trap Card(s) you control: You can return 1 Set Spell/Trap Card you control to the hand; Special Summon this card from your hand. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, nothing amazing tbh, but support is support. goddamnit names are a pain
These are quite awful actually. The red one has some merit, I suppose. If even. The quick effects of both are rather nice and if I teched any both would be at 1.
Maeriberii Haan
Oh my god, the first card is a generic hand trap version of IIW. this is going to be good

Wildflame
Told ya all there would be Both are interesting. First one as a tech in random decks, second one in Artifacts. I also like the weapons they are based on.
Darj
Outside of Artifact Decks, Longinus could be used as side-Deck material in decks that banish stuff and thus cannot resort to Iron Wall. And Chakram could be a decent (but still unneeded) 4th Theosophy target when using it as an engine, because if you happen to draw it, its last effect can make it live while saving from destruction a Set S/T. goddamnit names are a pain
its last effect can make it live while saving from destruction a Set S/T. Yes, because Artifacts don't want their backrow destroyed. =
Maeriberii Haan
You can save your actual backrows actually. Or MSTs on your turn.
goddamnit names are a pain
You can save your actual backrows actually. Or MSTs on your turn. Artifacts only run like 2 backrow, but if it's really worth protecting...
Darj
Yes, because Artifacts don't want their backrow destroyed. =3 Read the post again. I meant including Chakram in the Theosophy engine: x3 Theosophy and x3 Moralltach in non-Artifact Decks, which will most likely run backrow they will want to save. "engine" was a bit confusing (as in could be used in a few ways). Fair enough.
Toffee.
Chakram seems rather counterproductive... Why.jpg
Dog King
Charam seems useless, if it was face-up Spells and Traps then it would of been great. Longinus seems like a decent side but against most decks you're going to have to discard it in Standby Phase to make any use for it since you cant use it after they try to SS Bls or something. Althemia
Charam is actually meant to be used as a side card AGAINST Artifacts. That's hilarious.Longinus is going to be a good side material card some time, I can definitely see that happening.
Slinky
Wait wait wait Does longinus say you can tribute it from the hand? Because thats pretty damn amazing. Granted, cards don't really get banished on your opponents turn that often, but.. side deck material maybe? If you are facing dragons, you can stop the rulers in their tracks, and stop REDMD from being summoned. If facing monarchs, turns Caius into a s*** fest. Stops frogs from doing their shenanigans. Stops Bujins from trying to murk up their crap on their turn when you try chaining a d-prison (nvm, it prevents banishes on both sides) or something. Longinus definitely has some massive side deck potential here.
goddamnit names are a pain
See it did seem counter productive and this was coming from me I totally respect the art and weapons each represents.
mido9
Chakram doesnt have to return the one being targeted by the removal. It can return ANY S/T you have set. So, what's actually so wrong about it?
