It shuts down Bujins, Constellars and Artifacts hard.

Constellars? Not so much. Because, it only shuts down Sombre and 1 copy of their Salvage. They don't need them to go off, they are for later plays if the preliminaries fail.

DNA Surgery rapes Bujins better.

Artifacts, well, you got me there. But still we don't know what their influence in the TCG will be yet. The Artfifact deck themselves might be mediocre at best because TCG exclusives. But the engine will still be amazing, and this doesn't really shut down the engine.

We don't know how widespread those are going to be yet.  Calling them future best deck is pure conjecture.

Unless we take a look at tournament results, which show that Artifacts are topping a lot because of how ridiculously powerful they are. No, this'll be a staple in the side for the most part along with stuff like Breakthrough being more feasible over Fiendish in the main because of them.

one of. Artifacts are played and topped quite a lot in OCG (behind Rulers and Chronos, the latter which also utilized the artifact engine), so it's quite safe to say that yeah, they'll be a really relevant deck.

OCG is also a completely different format.

3 Compuls

3 Bottomless

1 Solemn

1 Warning

3 Mirror Force

3 Gorz

2 Honest

So, saying how well they'll do here when the format is completely different is mere drabble.

EDIT: Biggest Factors, they still have Monster reborn and Heavy Storm

I only pointed out the other two because it has more uses than just against Artifacts. Also Constellarfacts are a real thing and they rely on Sombre and Artifacts. DA is obviously the best side to Bujins; that doesn't make this horrible though.

So what you're ideally saying is that this deck might not be meta in the TCG because of the fact that it's doing well in the OCG despite them having infinitely more ways to deal with Artifacts than we do or..?

main point is they have Heavy Storm, we don't. They could be doing well over there, because the japanese might be Heavy Storming too often, or the archetype is too new, so people are trying to find/test counters for them.

Mainly, think of it like a fighting game. a new character is released and tops a tournament. Most likely, that character won because people don't know how to deal with him/her yet. it could also be skill, but lack of match-up data is extremely valuable in these types of scenarios, and with an archetype being new, the match up data is still being determined.

ok maybe you should read the artifacts first before thinking that those kind of differences will matter...

He's saying that because it's a different format, you can make the judgement that results from that format have no sway on what may happen in the other, because the environment is different.

It's a valid-ish point in theory, lessened in practice.

Pretty much this.

It doesn't sound like a bad idea but I'd rather LIM. In non-LIGHT decks, of course.

The problem with this is that the deck in question this is sided against (Being Artifacts) has access to the most S/T removal you've ever seen, so stuff like this is almost guaranteed to be out of the picture. The others obviously have LIM as their go-to choice, but they were brought up to say that this isn't that bad in other match-ups as well.
