Sleepy
If I remember correctly, the "And if you do" on Hootcake means that Desertapir would not miss timing. That's a really weird wording then since "and if you do" sounds like "if you achieve X, move on to do Y".
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
That's a really weird wording then since "and if you do" sounds like "if you achieve X, move on to do Y". Yugimon has a lot of issues with that, such as with Papilloperative. People thought that it caused the timing to miss, but apparently not?
Sleepy
Yugimon has a lot of issues with that, such as with Papilloperative. People thought that it caused the timing to miss, but apparently not? Hmm I see. Sucks to have it that way. Especially since they should have over a decade of experience in what the right ways to word cards are. Now it means people have to know the rulings or go look them up for such a silly and avoidable mistake. Iirc, a while ago Evilfusion mentioned the PSCT Necrovalley being a step back from what the previous wording had achieved... [/sigh]

Miror B
That's a really weird wording then since "and if you do" sounds like "if you achieve X, move on to do Y". "And" means simultaneous. "Then" means not simultaneos. "If you do" means if A cannot happen, B does not happen. No bearing on being simultaneous.

Yup those 3 have appeared from before PSCT ITT: We learn PSCT. https://yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=4514 You still have to admit that one is not exactly the most easy to reason out for the people that haven't seen that page, and I don't even mean all of the terms in it, but just the "and if you do" clause in particular. This exact same conversation happened in the last OS thread. People don't listen. What's OS and who are you saying not to be listened?
玄魔の王
What's OS and who are you saying not to be listened? OS = Obedience Schooled, and "people don't listen" is an observation, not aan instruction.
