Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare

This card is really good against Artifacts, Galaxies, Lightsworns, Tiaramisu, Gear Gigant X and most Rank 4/5s that are played in every deck. It is pretty overlooked in my mind and you don't have to play Traptrix to use it (though Myrmeleo can search it which is amazing). It could be a decent Side-Deck tech next format.

I tested this in Traptrix and whenever I searched it with Myrmeleo, the opponent played around it by not activating the effect of the monster he/she Summoned. For that reason, I prefer Void Trap Hole, which, although it cannot hit 1900- ATK monsters, it will stop anything else even if their effects are not activated.

On the other hand, not activating the effect they Summoned will inconvenience their plays. In the case of compulsory effects that activate upon Special Summon, it would make them reluctant to Special Summon that monster unless they have an immediate answer.

 

Now, to exploit the mentality...

Well Artifacts and Galaxies in particular can't even function without activating their effects when they are summoned so against those decks at least then you won't have to worry about it being played round unless they simply don't play at all.
