Toffee.
If this card is Normal Summoned, you can add to your hand 1 "Dog of War" from your Deck. If you control a face-up Beast-Type monster, you can Special Summon this card(from your hand). You can only Special Summon 1 "Dog of War" this way once per turn. If this card is Summoned in this way, you cannot Special Summon monsters this turn, except for Beast-Type monsters. You can Tribute this card and send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard: Send 1 Beast-Type monster from your Deck to your Graveyard.Dogs should honestly be a deck of some kind. What I'm not comfortable with is that you can NS this card, tutor a copy, SS it, then go for whatever rank 4 Beast Xyz available... if there was one to begin with. Alas, I wanted this to be able to interact with Cry Havoc!, so that you can actually "let slip" this card.
Darj
I have the feeling the card might be too powerful: It thins the deck by searching a copy of itself, it comes with a decent ATK of 1800 for a Level 4, and the last effect can set "Chain Dog" up, trigger "Heraldic Beast Leo", and I don't know what else. Being able to drop the searched copy and go for essentially a +0 Xyz Summon is really good too, but the restriction balances it quite well, as your only Xyzs options would be Diawolf and #44 Sky Pegasus. However, this may change once we get Sumo King Dog. It seems like it could become a really good deck thinning engine in Heraldics, and I'm not sure if they deserve it when they already can do crazy stuff. I don't really mind this card boosting "Dog" decks (if they ever become a thing), but perhaps you could limit the last effect to milling Beast-Type "Dog" monsters to prevent abuse by Heraldics? Toffee.
Dropped the ATK by 100.Added more of a cost to the last effect.once we get Sumo King Dog.Wasn't Sumo King stated to be specific to that upcoming game?Kinda' like how a lot of anime cards are still specific to the Tagforce games. Trebuchet MS
Oh, it's LV4? The things it can make by comboing with itself would be... Diamond Dire Wolf, and Sky Pegasus...
