It's because your opinion sucks. Everyone has a sucky opinion at one time or another, but yours just happened to be seen by members on this message board. There are a few reasons why your opinion sucks: 1. You fail to back up your opinion with rational reasoning and logic. This is often the case when people say, "I like Naruto better then Elfen Lied," then just *****ing about how you should respect their opinion without providing reasoning as to why Naruto is better then Elfen Lied. 2. The reasoning you provide is flawed. This is often the case with opinions such as, "I think global warming is wrong because this winter I had lots of snow and ice." Global warming isn't just going to get rid of snow/ice right away, and especially not in the northern/southern parts of the world. There will still be snow and ice, and often it will be quite bad. This is the exact reason we need a Debate forum where only select individuals can post. ( Say, and application thread in General, and applications would be reviewed by moderators such as myself. ) Because it's been like this since day 1, and I highly doubt its going to change anytime soon. Guest JoshIcy Posted March 22, 2008 Report Share Posted March 22, 2008 personally i think "sucks" should be replaced with 'invalid' so its less direct but dont start a debate there >.> i just prefer generalization before directness.... but i believe that this can all be fixed with specific word filters like runescapes.. so complex XP its crazy.... ie seriously harsh but not swear words would be replaced with appraisal words..... that would clear out most of the "sucky" opinions.... also in the rules state that if you are to be direct, like that please state that it is just a matter of opinion so the person does not get mad... i have been known to 'flip out' like that on 1 occasion.... but how many of the people that do that thoroughly look at the rules.... but hey its an idea right?
