BatMed
Winds of Gusto All known "Gusto" monsters are WIND so they can use WIND support cards such as "Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi", and can be Special Summoned by "Flying Kamakiri #1". The archetype consists of Winged Beast, Psychic, Thunder, even Rock and Pyro-type monsters. Only Winged Beast-Type "Gusto" monsters (except "Gusto Codor", "Gusto Griffin", and "Gusto Squirro") are Tuner monsters and all of the Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters have "Daigusto" in their names. The archetype's main strategy is almost entirely based on tightening their defense and loading the Graveyard, since most support for the Gusto archetype requires 2 or more Gusto monsters to be shuffled into the Deck. The Deck relies on heavy defensive tactics, beginning with its trio of searchers which form what Duelists refer to as "the recruiter loop": "Winda, Priestess of Gusto", "Gusto Gulldo" and "Gusto Egul." These three cards can continuously search one another out of the Deck when destroyed in battle while simultaneously filling the Graveyard for other Gusto monster effects. For example, "Caam, Serenity of Gusto" can shuffle 2 Gusto monsters back into the Main Deck in order to draw a card, and "Musto, Oracle of Gusto" can shuffle 1 Gusto monster into the Deck and negate various monster effects. Both "Pirika, Lineage of Gusto" and "Windaar, Sage of Gusto" also have an effect that Special Summon "Gusto" monsters from the Graveyard, providing more field presence. More Informations: Gusto These are some cards that I made to support this Archetype, any reviews, suggestions ? [spoiler=Gustos] During your opponent's End Phase, you can target 1 face up monster they control; reduce that target's Level by 1 to special summon this card (from your hand). If this card is used for the Synchro summon of a WIND monster; target cards your opponent controls up to the number of the non-tuner monster used for the Synchro summon of that monster; Shuffle those targets into their owner's Deck. You can only use 1 "Windom, Felicity of Gusto" effect per turn, and only once that turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters except WIND monsters. When this card is special summoned (Except from the graveyard); you can activate 1 of these effects. *Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your graveyard. *Target 1 face-up card on the field; Shuffle that target into their owner's Deck. At the start of the Damage Step, you can shuffle up to 3 "Gusto" monsters from your Graveyard into the Main Deck, and if you do, increase this card's ATK by 300 for each, Until the End Phase. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. Once per turn, you can discard 1 "Gusto" monster from your hand; Destroy 1 face-up Defense position monster your opponent controls. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle; Shuffle 1 "Gusto" tuner monster from your graveyard to your deck instead. Once per turn, you can discard 1 "Gusto" monster from your hand; Destroy 1 face-up monster with the highest ATK. (If it is a tie, you get to choose.) Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle; Shuffle 1 "Gusto" non-tuner monster from your graveyard to your deck instead. This card can be Special Summoned by Tributing 2 "Gusto" monsters. When this card is summoned, return up to 2 cards your opponent controls to their owner's hand. Negate the effects of monsters destroyed by battle with "Gusto" monsters you control and banish them. 2 "Gusto" Psychic-type Synchro Monsters This card gains 100 ATK for each WIND monster in your graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed during your Battle Phase. Once per turn you can activate 1 of these effects. *Shuffle 1 card from your Graveyard into the Deck; Destroy 1 face-up card on the field. *Send 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck to your graveyard, if you do; face-up "Gusto" monsters you currently control gain 400 ATK until the End Phase. 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 non-tuner "Gusto" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters Once per turn: You can discard 1 "Gusto" monster or shuffle 1 "Gusto" monster from your Graveyard into the Main Deck to target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. When this card leaves the field; target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; Destroy that target. You can only control 1 face-up "Verah, Diagusto Lord". Once per turn when a WIND monster(s) is shuffled into your Deck: You can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your hand or Graveyard. Its effects are negated. "Gusto" Synchro monster(s) cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. When this card is destroyed; Shuffle all cards in either players graveyard into their owner's Deck. elitalianoverde
Hey these cards are pretty good, even the art is great, they all seem to match the "gusto" art style. I like the effects they seem realistic and not op in any way.
Toffee.
Shincho is outright silly. Mostly because, in addition to Call being@3, Gustos have a few cards that could play it from wherever, to which, will trigger it's on-Summon effect.Geraki is a little iffy, given the nature of Gustos. But really, the timing of when it hits the field for it's effect would be what determines it's usability, in the sense that it instead of continuing some floater-chain, it instead removes a card from the field.Pery's second effect should just be:Send 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck to your graveyard, if you do; face-up "Gusto" monsters you currently control gain 400 ATK until the End Phase.Assuming it's just a boost upon activation, and not a continuous sort of thing. Either way, I cleaned it up for you.Verah could lead to some potential loops, and is basically a +2 with Geraki.Aside from what I mentioned, I didn't really see anything wrong here. So in general, I say these are fine.

Darj
I don't agree with Gustos needing support because they recently got Pirika, who revitalized the archetype, and they don't need a beater when their win condition is Sphreez. Diagusto --> Daigusto Unless you intentionally made them as Diagustos to set them apart from Daigustos, but I don't know why whould you do that. Zeulcos bouncing 3 cards is too much, and is open of abuse through cards like Call of the Haunted. I would limit the # cards it can bounce to up to 2. Other than that, the cards look fine. In my opinion, the effect of banishing cads as cost/effect look out of place in Gustos because the archetype doesn't have any effect that involves banishment, but that doesn't make them unrealistic and is not really a problem (after all, Konami gave Hootcake to Madolches, who for some reason has a banish effect when Madolches weren't involved with that mechanic). On the other hand, shuffling cards into the deck is something that Gustos do (both as a card cost or form of removal), so you could replace banishment with this mechanic to stick closer to their theme. For instance, you could effectively replace Peryton's first effect with: Shuffle 1 card from your Graveyard into the Deck; Destroy 1 face-up card on the field. SoulFlo
Wow, you are seriously cool dude. Firstly, you chose my absolute 2 favorite decks to do support for (#1 Fire Kings and #2 Gusto) and your art for the cards is amazing! (and alluring) I feel some of the effects clash a little, but I would definitely be looking forward to more. I think the level 9 synchro is great! I've been waiting for something to utilize the Pirika + Genomix Fighter combo with!
SoulFlo
One more thing to add, I think Gusto's are in dire need of a field spell and trap cards that don't suck. i.e Dust Storm of Gusto (who ever thought this card would be good?) Actually, all their trap cards suck miserably, but perhaps can be utilized slightly with these new cards. I really wish Konami would listen to us, rather than say "Fuck You Fire Kings and Gusto!" magemeek22
Gusto Fortress. Totally in love. However, and I'm not sure about this, but would that card miss the timing a lot? Rephrased, it would be: Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a WIND monster(s) is shuffled into your Deck: You can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your hand or Graveyard. Its effects are negated. "Gusto" Synchro monster(s) cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. When this card is destroyed; Shuffle all cards in both players' Graveyards into their owner's Deck. Honestly, I would totally run this card in my Gusto deck if it existed. Excellent design, aside from the missing-the-timing defect. The rest of the cards you made are decent as well, though I can't review them all at this time. One suggestion: a lot of your cards have effects that destroy your opponent's cards - can you change them so you shuffle your opponent's cards into their decks? I know this mimicks Madolches, but Gusto's really are centered on shuffling, so I don't see why this can't happen.

CLANNADAT
Hi there. The Gusto archetype is one of my favorites and your cards are fantastic. I do think they need some modification though. I have taken some of your cards and slightly modified them to either balance them or make them better. I've also added my own Card for you to use if you want. Windom, Felicity of Gusto (Change to Windel, Purity of Gusto due to it being a better fitting name i think. Changed first effect to be usable during either players turn and to lower your own levels instead of your opponents. Gusto Geraki Changed wording of When to If for effect. Zeulcos, Daigusto Shincho Received a full effect modification without changing the baseline. Original: This card can be Special Summoned by tributing 2 "Gusto Monsters. When this card is Summoned, return up to 2 cards your opponent controls to the owner's hand. Negate the effects of monsters destroyed by battle with "Gusto" monsters and banish them New: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Shuffling 3 or more "Gusto" monsters in your Graveyard into your deck, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is summoned, return up to 2 cards your opponent controls to their owner's hand. Negate the effects of monsters destroyed by battle with "Gusto" monsters you control (including in the Graveyard) and banish them. Daigusto Sphwindarr No modifications required. Daigusto Gerakis No modification required. Gusto fortress (Change to Gusto Citadel due to the passive nature of the archetype) No modification required. The XYZ monsters are unnecessary unless you create a gusto monster that gets its effect regardless of how it hits the graveyard. And finally is my own custom idea to further improve the gusto archetype. Feel free to use it if you want. Gusto Hurricane [attachment=43043:Hurricane.jpg] I believe this card can give the gusto archetype a big boost in power without being too broken. If you think it is too powerful feel free to modify it till your hearts content.
