ems97
The last of the legendary in 3rd gen. Well the effect is now if either (including self) activates any card effects, they are negated. The attacking your opponent directly instead of 3000 life points of damage, its 1500 points of damage since it is op. I am questioning of zygarde does it reverse the effects or same thing as this card? For the second effect which is they lose 1500 is there any re-wording to this so next time I can fix that part only. Image is from shawnnl.deviantart.com 2 Level 8 monsters During your Battle Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card can attack your opponent directly this turn. If this card attacks your opponent directly, halve the battle damage inflicted. During either player's turn, if another card effect is activated, negate the effect. Questions: If it attacks the opponent directly without using its effect (i.e. opponent controls no monsters), does the battle damage still get halved? Wouldn't Rayquaza negate its own effect? ems97
If you put it that way well Utopia can negate his own attack with his own ability.

If Rayquaza can negate its own effects, then when anyone tries to do anything, it will activate, trying to negate that effect. Then Rayquaza will try to negate its own negation effect. And again. And again. And again. And again. It goes on in an infinite loop that never resolves.
ems97
For your first question yes, your opponent still loses half of 3000 even without the effect. Second question to tell you the truth idk maybe it can maybe it won't.
Trebuchet MS
idk maybe it can maybe it won't. You're the one making the card, you decide on sorting out this mess rather than simply shrugging it off.
ems97
Well I have read the card I made. It did said if either player uses any card effect which counts to self, the effects are negated so which means this is optional effect and negate its own effect if the opponent has their trick up their sleeves. Maybe I will add "once per turn".

Maybe I will add "once per turn". If you want it to be an optional effect, add a "you can" to it. However, this will also make it no different from the previous version since you have control on what passes and what doesn't.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
As Gadjiltron already mentioned, the second effect (as you've worded it) attempts to negate itself in an infinite loop. Using his fix and saying "all other effects are negated" fits much better. You need to know how to explain what the card is supposed to be doing, instead of just saying "I don't know" and hoping it'll do something worth mentioning. The effect fits Air Lock well enough, though you need to clear up that issue regarding its negation effect. On that note, considering that this is optional, you might as well just use the old lore since you're essentially going to negate stuff your opponent plays (and we've already told you that negating everything your opponent plays is a big no). Making this a hard OPT effect would do you better.
