So they're trying to make Polymerization good or something? Except for Owl making it so you don't even need Polymerization? I'm excited for more Des-Toy cards, and I wanna know what a Toybot is.

A toypot is the card Sora used in his duel:

cZnTPqK.jpg(I'm pretty sure someone else has made a page on this so search there)

Also, there's a new fusion which I've linked below so my post isn't huge again.

Des-Toy Scissor Wolf

lv6/ DARK/ fiend/ fusion

2000/1500

Edge Imp Scissors + 1 or more Funimal monsters

This card can only be Special Summoned by a Fusion Summon using the above Fusion Materials.
(1) This card can attack a number of times equal to the number of Fusion Materials used for its Summon during each Battle Phase.

These are... Interesting.
I mean, yea, they are pretty silly, but like, they are going for a Polymerization-esque toolbox with the main Fusion Material, basically, being able to appear on the fly.
Add to it, I like how it's just a non-Tuner version of Plaguespreader that has the benefit of Tour Guide.

I was really hoping this archetype would be at the very least, able to make fun plays but this has surpassed my expectations. It is of course, not the best at what it does and I really don't expect it as being anywhere close to Tier 1 but it's still really neat. A common problem I think they might have is that they simply run out of materials very quickly as there aren't that many monsters to utilize it that and there seems to be no graveyard retrieval. And Lio is a bit disappointing.

But besides from that, everything works in sync. Edge Scissors can Summon itself very easily and if you used Owl's searching effect while you already had a Poly in your hand, you could simply return it to the top to use in the next turn. It also sets up Toy Pot effectively by guaranteeing there is a Furnimal monster on the top if you return one obviously. Bear seems pretty neat and can retrieve Poly pretty easily and his Toy Pot effect seems cool but with all the backrow-hate, probably not that useful. But then again, if the set Toy Pot is blown up, you could always use it's second effect (which allows you to search a Furanimal or Scissors on destruction, which hasn't been mentioned at all.) As I said, Lio is disappointing. If it could give the boost to any Furnimal or Des Toy that attacks, it would have much more potential but still a bit subpar. Cat is simple but pretty effective and fills a bit of a niche that Bear misses (as in it can still be used as Material while still searching). Owl is really good for the archetype as well. Toy Pot is pretty brilliant, as mentioned, as it makes Des Scissor's cost a bit more useful (but still with a discard) and acts as a searcher on destruction. Des Wolf and Des Bear are cool but they would need something like Fusion Weapon (brilliant suggestion by Armz) to use their effects a bit more effectively.

Overall, really happy with these cards. They have very nice synergy and are even more supported by Fusion Reserve which gives them a bit more speed and graveyard retrieval. Also, they are adorable :) But yeah, Konami finally did something I like with Fusions.
