Azuh
Sorry yall I'm on the phone. So ill post a picture on the card when I get back. But yeah just search Night Beam on the Yugioh wiki... J-Max
Target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Your opponent cannot activate the targeted card in response to this card's activation. Wouldn't say it was a Staple to be honest. Its a simple 1 for 1 destruction. It can stop your opponent activating it in response though so Quick Plays and Traps cannot be triggered before its destruction. Meh I would say 1 in the Deck or in the Side. EDIT: If this card was Quick Play however.... Hooooooo boy....
Wildflame
It seems to be enormously more popular in the OCG than in TCG, regardless of the format.
Althemia
Night Beam's one of those cards that the OCG seems to love for some reason, despite how awkward it can be at times really. Not going to be a staple though, since there's not much of a point to playing it since it doesn't stop anything truly devastating anyways.
Expelsword
Definitely side-able, but MST being a quickplay and and unlimited is THE staple.
Blake
I mean I'd rather just lance the target for Mask change given that lance is quick and can be used in Draw to not be outplayed...
Slinky
then there's also the fact you can chain something to night beam, then chain the target.
the_engineer
then there's also the fact you can chain something to night beam, then chain the target. this is why the text should have been something like "Target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Your opponent cannot activate card or effects in response to this card's activation" like super poly
