Marco Polo
You can only activate 1 "Midas Spell" per turn. Target 1 monster on the field; until the End Phase, that monster's effect becomes: ●When this card is targeted by a card effect, your opponent draws 1 card. I'm not even sure it is half as terrible as I imagine it. I'm honestly more concerned of the fact that this acts as a forbidden chalice of some sort If yes, first thing that comes to mind would be playing with the first phrase or making it add a new effect instead of overwriting the old one. discuss. Dramatic Crossroad
First of all, since i'm not sure how... and why... but the card looks awesome, in terms of graphic quality. Are you using some kind of personal/different template,... got me really really jealous of having my cards looking really generic in comparison to this. Praise! OCG is flawless as well. I too am not so sure about the overall balance. Most ofter when a monster is targeted - it leaves the field,... so it really would decrease this card's overall performance if you plan to put its drawing effect into use. OmegaWave
The card overall looks fantastic. However, i'm not too keen on the effect unless you're willing to -1 yourself at the end and have a number of targeting effects that you can just send off. I guess it really comes down to "Do I want this new draw that badly?" On the upside, this COULD be used a pseudo-Effect Veiler/Breakthrough Skill if i'm understanding the effect correctly. Did you intend for it to completely replace the monster's effect or just add this new effect to what it already has?
Zauls
What I'm seeing is a Spell Speed 1 Forbidden Chalice that has some kind of situational second effect that may sometimes help to alleviate the -1 that it obviously is. Its a nice concept but I think the card would be outclassed by the other effect negation cards due to their less situational secondary benefits and their chainability. You could probably get away with making it quick-play but even then it would probably still be outclassed by Breakthrough Skill in today's metagame. However the only reason for that is Artifacts really so the card will probably end up being played, but not right now. So, make it quick-play and it will completely outclass Forbidden Chalice and probably some of the other effect negators at some point.

Thanks =p it's Judαs' awesome template, makes things look awesome. you just need to pick the naming & carefuly and there you go. and exactly. at first I was like "hell this is ridiculous." but when I start picking scenarios it's not so strong. Thanks :} It's not easy to pull off with a worthy advantage, unless you plan it and it can become abusable; I imagine it would see play to some degree though I'm really not sure. the thing with the effect replacement is intended to be exactly as written, replacing that monster's effect What I'm seeing is a Spell Speed 1 Forbidden Chalice that has some kind of situational second effect that may sometimes help to alleviate the -1 that it obviously is. Thank you, I see; what if I removed the first phrase(limitation)? thing is, as a realistic card, I'm not keen on it outclassing Forbidden Chalice, each card should have it's place though just now I see that it's a constant -1, you could use a card effect that would eliminate the monster but would you rather use cards that don't just for the sake of this draw? I honestly don't know, very situational. I'll look into it.
