El-Shaddoll Shekinaga (NECH)

Recommended Posts

First things first, we know that Nephilim looks like Sombres, despite not being her.

Then it's been hinted that the Shaddolls do not kill most, if any, of their Dolls, merely copy them and maybe corrupt them. This can be seen with the Yang Zing. Taotie appears to be a corrupted fusion of Suanni and Pulao; Both of which are known to have encountered their shadow selves. the fact that Jiaotu is straight up Bixi with a corrupted Satellaring pushes this further.

So, we get to El-Shaddoll Fusion; We see Midrash destroying the Sacred Tree, which then apparently became uprooted. This seems to have unleashed the Qliphoth, which were next to the Tree of Life/Sefiroth under the Sacred Tree.

"Midrash is a method of interpreting biblical stories that goes beyond simple distillation of religious, legal, or moral teachings. It fills in gaps left in the biblical narrative regarding events and personalities that are only hinted at.[1]"

It's possible that, seeing as the Qliphoth seem good as opposed to evil, and the Shaddolls are clearly evil, that they might be taking an Anti-Christ approach.

Midrash is a false prophet, ironic to her name, and Nephilim is their attempt to emulate and become God. This is further supported in her name and actions.

Midrash seems to be the vanguard/main face of the Dolls as well in the war they wage.

Shekhinah is a feminine name for God in Hebrew. In addition to that:
"The original word means the dwelling or settling, and denotes the dwelling or settling of the Divine Presence of God, especially in the Temple in Jerusalem."

She seems to have taken up residence inside of the Qliphoth's boss, whose original form we have yet to see. However, this fusion of the two is featured in the Qliphoth field spell. This makes sense as some female emulation of God residing in a pseudo-"temple".

Then there's Naga, which refers to a snake deity. Usually a King Cobra, and it's been used for dragonic purposes as well.

Shekhinah + Naga = Shekhinaga.

Now, what God do we know that's a fusion of a female god and a snake deity? The Sacred Serpent - Kerykeion and Sombres.

And Nephilim is growing closer to godhood. She's absorbing an outside force to empower herself (Qliphoths), she has named herself after God (feminine) and a Cobra God. She's trying to become Kery and Sombres or equivalent thereof.

This would likely make Cairn/Egrystal the beast, but we need more on that side to be sure. He could just be an allegory for humanity losing its way in its vices. He was the greatest hero of the war, the main character after Sombres and Kerykeion and possibly Roach... yet he fell this far.

So now we wait to see where the DT story continues to go, and see if Nephilim reveals even more about her attempts at becoming a deity or like a deity.

Here's hoping the Sacred Serpent desceds to put a stop to all this.
