I made this competitive bird talon flame. With the move which I believe flare blitz and/or brave bird.image belongs to zerochan.net

Edit: Now I re-wrote the effect to use the ability Gale Wings to see how it works out. Any fixes or adding the effects is fine.

During your opponent's turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Material from this card; this turn, this card can conduct its Battle Phase.

The above poster is right, you'd need to specify battle damage for it not to chain.

Now, if that were fixed, it's quite a chunk of damage in some instances. But it may actually be a bit too high of an attack seeing how much damage you can do with its effect.

Now. Does this capture Talonflame. Short answer? No. Talonflame doesn't have very high of an attack stat (81) Though this could be taking as it's holding a choice band, hence only one attack or "effect". So that could be fine. The defense is too high, Talonflame is frail. But the main problem is the effect doesn't suit it.

If it's a Banded Talonflame using Flare Blitz, then the effect has nothing to do with the attack. Which is a high damage high risk all out attack.

Not to mention Gale Wings IS the more recognizable thing about Talonflame. (Though it's fine you choose Flare Blitz instead.)

(Also, I'd figure Gale Wings would be some sort of "Can't activate spells or traps while the monster is attacking" thing. To emulate priority.)

Last time I checked, they do not get their own Battle Phases.

A card can allow a player to do it another time, but certainly not in this case.

Adapting Gale Wings to Yugioh does prove difficult, but as Cow Cow mentioned, just have it negate S/T cards when it attacks (in a similar vein to Ancient Gears to some extent). Or just base the card off of one of its moves; those are easier to coordinate. I really don't know what to say in this case.

While we understand it's difficult to translate mechanics in other series into Yugioh; it's your responsibility as the card maker to translate them properly without breaking existing mechanics.
