Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 5 set cards you control to the Graveyard. When you activate a Spell or Trap Card, you can negate it's effect and destroy it; return 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field to it's owner's hand. When you Special Summon a DARK monster, you can send it to the Graveyard; return 1 monster on the field to it's owner's hand.

I can actually see this as a pretty stuff, you however? discuss.

Deliberately made to send the set cards to the Graveyard and not destroy them to not trigger any sick artifact combos..

5 Set cards is a huge price to bring this out, even 1 for the present effect is still expensive. The effect for a cost of 5 cards is far too weak. I'd recommend changing destruction of your own card to returning to hand (and being unable to use it for the rest of the turn). That way you lose that one card for the turn, in exchange your opponent loses something too.

???!!!
5 set cards??!
You know that that's a huge price to pay, that's 20% - 25% (depending on deck size)of your S/T. It's effecting isn't even that good, because it involves destroying your own card just to return to the hand your opponents card. Either strenghten the effect by a lot and reduce cost to 3 S/T OR strengthen the effect a bit and reduce cost to 1-2 S/T. I suggest making the cost 1 Set Spell/Trap, but you return to hand your own cards to destroy opponents card, but it can't be done more than once per turn.
The other effect is fine

?!!?

5 set cards#?!?!

you know, some decks aren't that bothered.

I don't get in which deck you imagine this thing, obviously if you put this in bujins it doesn't work since they don't use enough spells, ofcourse, if you run this - you run more spells, more traps.

on the other hand, this, with a bunch of proper cards, could work well. It's effect means that now every spell / trap you control is essentially a bouncer. every summoned

I agree that 5 sets is a too much, since it's a full hand, 3 is good.

I have something in mind, tell me if that works.

2 options, first:

-3 set cards to SP.

-negate any of your DARK summons; bounce a monster (not just Special Summons.)

second:

-3 set cards to SP, or I think I'll just let you Tribute Summon this card and remove the first clause altogether

-negate any of your DARK summons; bounce a monster.

-the Spell/Trap now part now negates activation and destroys, bounces if S/T is set. <<that means it can be used during opponent's turn as well.

First - let me praise this, since once again it looks really cool, authentic and realistic, although you can bring back a bit more color level to the body of the card, saturation has been lowered a tad bit much. :)

Second - Is it Nomi or Semi-Nomi? The conditions and limits for the Summoning aren't that obvious and are somewhat left to the imagination at this point.

Like you noted: 3 set cards would in fact be a reasonable cost, but my suggestion to leave that nearly as an option for the Special Summon, this way making it more splashable via cards like Dasher, Tribute Doll etc.

Third (lol) - i really like how the effect(s) do not actually target and applies a "target" only at resolution. Even if the opponent responds with a card they think might be "in danger", you can pick a different card when resolving the chain.

I think people are missing the wording, 5 set cards is expensive but it also could mean monsters, not just s/t. Ghostricks would have a little field day with this card outside the cat girl lock. Sending Alucard or Dullahan to the grave to trigger the last effect wouldn't hurt as much since both of those monsters add a ghost rick back when they are sent. I'd say that this is a very balanced card with powerful effects that take a little work to trigger. Good job!

Note: I believe this card would be able to send itself to the grave upon summon to bounce a card. Correct me if I would be wrong in that ruling.

Thank you! I also love how you instantly noticed what I did to the card ;p

And yes, it's a nomi. If it was a semi-nomi it'd be phrased "Must be first Special Summoned.." etc.

its now changed to 3 btw.

Thanks, and you're correct, on every point.

This can indeed bounce itself, and monsters are part of that 5 set card cost..

I really liked how it was balanced and had effects that had to take effort to trigger, though now that I've changed it to 3 it makes me feel not good about this.

This shouldn't become a free staple, I hope it won't.

One thing I slipped in the new version, is that now the bouncing caused by your Spell / Trap activation can now bounce any card (which was previously: activate s / t, bounce s /t instead now reduced to bouncing any card) which worries me a little.

continue discussing thanks!
