Bonefire Efreet Dragon, it emerges from the flaming corpses of all the evil pests of NECH.

 

During either player's turn: You can Normal Summon this card from your hand by sending Fusion, Xyz or Pendulum monsters whose levels or ranks combined equal 4 or more from anywhere on the field to the Graveyard. You can only control 1 face-up "Bonefire Efreet Dragon". Pendulum monsters affected by this effect are sent to the Graveyard.

 

Efreets are flaming winged creatures from arabic myths btw.

As an anti-Qlip weapon, Qlips are likely to just flinch a little before going back to their usual business and slugging this card in the face. Putting the offending Pendulum monster in the Graveyard will slow down their ability to constantly generate Tribute fodder, but not by much.

 

I'm also under the impression that Normal Summons usually involve the usual Tribute counts (or without) for high-level monsters, etc, even if granted using the assistance of card effects. Any other Summoning stunts would fall under Special Summons.

 

What does a Normal Summon mean now, anyways...?

well not only have you attempted to burn Qliphorts in a fire, but E./Masked/D. Heroes, Evilswarms, Hieratics, any Xyz deck for that matter, Shaddolls, and, if anyone runs this, Gem-Knights and Gladiator Beasts. personally, i think it's too splashable and the summoning requirements are too easy to accomplish. now as for the Normal vs. SS rule, i do think this counts as a Normal summon similar to a Soul Exchange, or a SS similar to how Lava Golem works, but i think the Lava Golem idea is closer, so this could be considered a SS and add the effect "You cannot Normal Summon/Set the turn you activate this card's effect." That being said, considering the purpose, i think it should just stick to Pendulums only as a Pendulum killer, and remove the Fusion and Xyz part, that way, you could effectively break the scale by sending both cards to the grave. Just my thought on this.

Well, slowing them is absolutely necessary.

I insisted on making it a Normal Summon so it'll be gently unaffected by El-Shaddolls.

btw it's Normal Summoned just for Shaddoll Nephilim..

The Xyz part is mainly focused on removing ARK, Utopia spams and other unhealthy meta habits.

I'm not entirely sure how to make it less splashable though, do you have any ideas?

my only idea is to limit the Xyz rank to Rank 5 or lower, while adding in Fusion monster from Level 8 and lower, so you can still accomplish bringing out the card while getting rid of troublesome Rank 5s and 4s, and ridding yourself of Nephilim or E heroes like Shining, Absolute Zero, Dark Law etc., as for pendulums, same as fusions, so i guess it can be like "Fusion and Pendulums Level 8 and lower or Xyz monster whose ranks are 5 or lower"

Makes this too limited in my opinion.

Well I just began playing Qliphoths, and suddenly remembered this card, this thing is mighty against Qliphoths, can interrupt them when they get tool, odd-eyes, or just are about to get apoqliphoth out and and bam, the tributes are gone - to the grave. I'm surprised myself.

btw, the card as of now has a mistake in it. it has access to pendulum monsters only, which is going to be changed to cards, so this can indeed rape their tools.
