This card is the absolute nuts in the Shaddoll matchup. It makes leaving ED mons on the board less painful because anything they'll Fuse will just end up banished, meaning that while they do get a beater, you can use your other backrow to answer it while minimizing the pain you receive from it hitting the board at all.

In the mirror, Shekhinaga with this backing it up is also absurdly powerful, because Roots/Fusion don't give a damn about it. This means THEIR roots and fusion spells don't care either, but you're forcing them to eat through advantage that they'd already be burning through quickly, but without it giving a proper return.

It's only for one turn at a time, and it's not limited, so it gives decks that can't normally run Macro an edge against decks like Dolls. It's not terrible v Qliphort either.

Concidentally, I was looking for decent Side-Deck choices a few hours ago, and decided to add a couple of these; good to know that it has been proven effective against Shaddolls.

Back when Artifacts were dominating I didn't like this card because it wouldn't banish Artifacts sent to the grave from the S/T Zone, but now that other decks are taking the lead I guess it is its time to shine.

Even if you can't run Macro, outside of the mirror matchup Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror or Soul Drain would probably be better against Shadolls.

Against Qliphort, this is certainly better, but is mostly just stun since you can't intercept a Tribute Summon.
