A Legitimately Useful Tech

This card could legitimately see play if it were real. It thins the deck, puts discard fodder in hand, and on top of that, it let's you draw into the cards you need. The only downside is you need to find a way to dump one of the two Clementy's from you hand into the Graveyard, which can make the card slow. It has a nice defense if you draw a really bad hand.

Effect:

If there's no "Clever Clementy" in your Graveyard, you can discard this card to add up to 2 "Clever Clementy" from your Deck to your hand. If 2 "Clever Clementy" exist in your Graveyard, you can discard this card and 1 Monster Card; draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Clever Clementy" once per turn.

I think the card is alright. The Thunder Dragon-like effect is a decent plus for an ok DEF, though it needs to depend on something else to get the second copy into the Graveyard. That is also fine considering it essentially reduces the cost of cards like Monster Reincarnation or Phoenix Wing-Wind Blast. Though the last effect doesn't seem like it'd net you any more pluses.

Which is not per say wrong to have here, but the card itself seems like it doesn't have a perfect place it could fit into.

If it just required discarding itself, it'd probably be a better Piper for thinning the deck, working with Herald of Pure Light for a small "draw 2" engine each turn for at least 2 or 3 shots. As is, it does have potential but the things it can discard are really out there in the "this and that could work, but have no synergy with it otherwise". It'd probably be cool as a WATER for making Atlantean combos, but then Salvage would break this card.....

It'd be interesting as DARK for Grepher combos, but IDK if I even want to give Infernities a chance to have any extra card at all.

Other than that other changes in Type or Attribute would just make this card into a potential Fusion Material Monster for one thing or another.

Yeah, after all my babbling, I think it is fine as is. It is hard to balance out "draw 2" effects, and you did succeed it as far as I can tell here.

Overall I like this card.

What puzzled me a bit was the summary before posting the card, i think (even if you're highly convinced) you should leave the community decide if this is legitimitely playable, since we're not impervious to mistakes and tend to overlook some flaws.

The card is indeed balanced, and i really like the artwork used, also the name has a nice ring to it, complements on all that.

Here is a slight fix for the OCG, since a few semicolons are missing from the cost descriptions.

If no "Clever Clementy" exist in your Graveyard: You can discard this card; add up to 2 "Clever Clementy" from your Deck to your hand. If (exactly) 2 "Clever Clementy" exist in your Graveyard: You can discard this card and 1 Monster Card; draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Clever Clementy" once per turn.

That's a good point. I haven't made any cards for a while, but now that you've mentioned it, the summary does seem a bit forced and out of place.

I think you're right, it would benefit from a more useful attribute. There isn't really that many decks out there that can regularly discard a card without some other tech like wind blast. Obviously, setting it would be a bit slow, especially in this metagame. Originally, the card was meant to speed up certain decks that lacked consistency, but now that I look back, it's pretty hard to pull off the draw 2. I'll have to think about it.
