Prophetic Destroyer of the Abyss

If this card battles while you control 2 cards in your Pendulum Zones, after damage calculation: You can destroy cards on the field equal to the difference of your Pendulum Scales, except cards in your Pendulum Zones, and if you do, destroy all cards in your Pendulum Zones.

[spoiler=Comments on the card]

Yes I can predict "bad/awful design" being told to me in the comments because it is a mass destroying effect. On its defense:

-It needs to destroy an exact amount of cards. For example, the Magicians are Scales 1 and 8, so the difference between them says you have to destroy 6 in that case.

-Keep in mind this card doesn't target. While this usually is an advantage in cards, this time around it means that if your opponent had that X amount of cards and suddenly MSTs his own card so that now his field is 2 cards short, you still need to fulfill the quota with your own field or not activate it at all.

-It requires you to do battle and have Pendulums out, so disrupting either the Pendulums or the monster itself will ruin it.

-You need to keep in mind that if your Scales are too broad, your opponent would need to overextend pretty badly to get hit, and if your Scales are too narrow, it might not be worth it considering you'll lose both of your Scales and potentially the attacking monster if you were going for a suicidal attack.

Flavor.

Waiting to have the Pendulums is supposed to be akin to waiting for the right time announced in prophesies, as vague as it might sound.

It is Leviathan, one of 3 great Jew-Christian biblical beasts that comes to break havoc, that is self explanatory. I did not add "Leviathan" to its name because Yugioh over-uses that word as is.

I like how you made this unsearchable.
Regardless, this card comes off as being like Chain Dog/Beautunaful Princess/etc/etc, in the sense that it has a lot of potential, but it's gimmicky potential at that. Not saying that's bad or anything, since it's always good if you are rewarded for jumping through hoops.
With that in mind.... Ideally you would want to Pendulum Summon this card with Scales of 2 and 4, since after it battles, you could freely destroy 2 cards on the field, which is commonplace. 'Course, you would go and loose your Pendulums afterwords, to which, results in it's effect being a +0. Though, the more you wish to destroy, would mean the more you would want to dedicate to it, to which, again, is why I said it's potential is gimmicky. And honestly, nothing is wrong with that.

So I say it's fine.

Actually, between 2 and 4 there just is a 3, so unless you are counting a monster potentially being destroyed by battle by this card along the way, its effect would only destroy 1 card in that scenario. Otherwise I agree xD

I actually had this schedule to be a Pendulum Plant FIRE monster, scale 3, and a small burn Pendulum effect, but since I have not made the drawing of a palm tree with boxing gloves that I wanted to use for this card, and since Pendulums are unavailable for card-makers as of right now, I settled for another image and it might have ended up working better in terms of balance. I'll probably repeat this concept once I have all I need and create a thread for it in the far far future. Or I could just stick with this version since it seems to have worked well according to feedback until now xP

I even was debating at first about what form or removal I should use, and intended a "banish" or "shuffle into the deck" for the opponent since "destroy" is getting rather weak nowadays, adding the gimmick into the mix and it was a very subpar card, but it can still help... I think xD
Thank you n.n

The vanilla Pendulums are 2, 3, and 7, so that'd make a decent 3 to 4 cards destroyed from it.

really like the concept and just like what armadilloz said, its not searchable which makes it fair.  i like it but not sure if i would ever play the card. it kind of seams like a random add on to any pendulum deck.

That is more or less what I was going for here, thank you.

Glad you guys liked it =D
