Aix
When your opponent Summons a monster(s): Target 1 Summoned monster; your opponent can banish that monster to negate this card's effect, otherwise draw 3 cards, then discard 2 cards.
When your opponent Summons a monster(s): Pay 2000 Life Points, then target 1 Summoned monster; your opponent can banish that target to negate this card's effect, otherwise draw 3 cards, then discard 2 cards.Lore: Graceful Charity trapped in the Forbidden Realms, manages to make contact with the two angels of Solemn Warning in the Limited Zone, and the three of them conspire together to escape, though leaving behind the old man.A host is both a group of people (or things, such as a group of angels) or someone (or a group) who receives people, hence this host of angels is receiving those who are coming onto the field with a... warm welcome. Was going to use this for a contest, but the lore wasn't really impressive enough IMO and wasn't entirely sure if it was OP. Spinny
Really? This is too overpowered. This is not at all balanced since, yes sure you cant just use it whenever you want but when your opponent summons silent honor ark, a +1 to hand size graceful charity happens or you banish a really useful card. Youve left the opponent with 2 horrible choices and played at the right time the opponent is forced to let the graceful charity effect happen (this charity is even worse since you even gain +1 to your hand-size as opposed to the normal one, dark dealings, card destruction etc). obviously this would see 2 much play and would probably become staple. My opinion would be to make the activation circumstances a bit more balanced. Hope i was of use ...

Hope i was of use ...This does not +1 to your hand size, Graceful Charity nets a +0 in hand advantage, and the main thing that was wrong with it was that it could be used whenever, and thoughtlessly, while being able to modify your hand to make it perfect. Though also the fact that discarding isn't necessarily minus in advantage for many Decks (i.e. Shaddolls and Dark Worlds), which it does indeed plus, but only in conjunction with specific cards. The whole point is that you play it at a point in the game where it's most effective, or play it when you know your opponent will pick the option that you want them to pick, and you have to bide your time for that.As for making the activation requirements narrower, I don't want to beat an overused niche in only affecting Special Summoned monsters, like Time-Space Trap Hole or Traptrix Trap Hole, nor do I want to go for a narrow niche with only Normal Summons. I also wanted to hit Shaddolls and Qliphoths at the same time. I think I'll give it a 2000 Life Point cost which also fits with the flavor. Darj
I don't think the card as a whole is fair. Don't get me wrong: Forcing your opponent to choose either its monster or a Graceful Charity for you is fine in my opinion. But triggering on all kinds of Summon (Including Normal Summons) and allowing deck to technically run 3 Graceful Charities pushes it too far; even if you activate this on a simple Normal Summon that didn't cost +2 monsters (as opposed to a Synchro/Xyz Monster) your opponent will most likely choose to banish its monster to stop you from gaining advantage, but you will be still disrupting its plays as if it had been a BTH. My point is that, as an on-Summon Trap, this card is almost as good as BTH, which is currently Limited. I think you should actually narrow its activation requirement. Another option is to water down the Charity effect to "draw 2 cards, then discard 1". By the way, I like the flavor you added to the card with the lore/backstory. 7-ink
I'll say its fun to read this when I first saw it. Yeah. Overpower true, might as well make the discard a cost instead of the payment so that when it get negated, it counter the overpowering part of this card to a bit more reasonable level. For one, opponent don't get to see the next 3 card before discarding, banishing might be fine by this point (it might or still be too much). I can get not negate it and let my monster die to prevent the draw to refill the hand. It actually give the one your using this on, a true season to choose what happen. Great pic and back-story, I like it.
