Astro Dude
I recently got a new update for Google Chrome and now all my fonts look terrible. I try to readjust the font so I can get it back to what it used to look like before the update but it gets worse. Is there any tips to rectify this problem? Aix
Can we ban you? I admit that would rectify the problem. OT: What do you mean fonts? Fonts where?
Astro Dude
Sticks and Stones. Anyway, I think I got it: Standard font is Times New Roman set at 16 size, Serif is Calibri or MSSerif, Sans-Serif is Arial or MS Sand Serif, fixed with is Courier and minimum font size is 10. That should fix it on my end. The fonts in Google Chrome Settings. Don't you feel like they're a bit off?
J-Max
The Fonts are fine to me. Saying that, I haven't had a Google Chrome Update for a long time. Not sure if disabling Vista's update settings did it or not. I would suggest checking your Windows Fonts to make sure that they are all intact. Astro Dude
Well it happened to me yesterday, well technically today since it happened at midnight for me. Felt like I had to update.

THIS! I totally expected the same thing here. But yeah, I don't use Chrome, it doesn't seem all that worth using.
goddamnit names are a pain
But yeah, I don't use Chrome, it doesn't seem all that worth using. TBH I'm surprised at all the hate Safari gets. It's my favorite out of the three commonly used (Safari, Fire Fox, and Chrome). Chrome downloaded ad stuff and it's personalized ads suck at time, but that's in part Google as a whole. Fire Fox is clunky and spam reminds you to update it. Among other details, that I could perhaps rant about. Hell, it would give this thread an actual purpose.

Go ahead and rant, I mean, talking about it is the closest thing you can do to make it a topic and not a Status. I'm curious as to your thoughts. I just use Firefox because I do, I never researched it much. My brother told me he used it so I went with it.
Agro
PC: Use Firefox Mac: Use Chrome Pretty straight forward. Also you can rectify the problem by not complaining every time there's an update. Have a nice day.
goddamnit names are a pain
I only use Firefox because a college thing works best with it. I don't like it because it constantly has popups and reminders from Firefox. Being told that it blocked a popup that you were trying to get to open is almost more annoying than popups themselves. Apparently our /Toshiba/ computer got a download on it that put ads everywhere in the browser. And it was ALSO a setting in Chrome. Not to mention Google hasn't been getting on my good side lately. Safari has the easiest, simplest bookmark system I've seen. It's my favored style of browser- easy to use and easy to organize. PC: Use Firefox Mac: Use Chrome Pretty straight forward. See no, I'm using Safari on a Mac right now... Granted I haven't tried Chrome on a Mac…. but... /mac/

goddamnit names are a pain
Ok, trying Chrome out. Feels smoother already. Maybe the issue was just /Toshiba/ Safari in general seems to be the best browser when talking about across all browsers/pcs/os or whatever. We'll see, lol. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I've never had any popup issues with Firefox actually, nor the notifications. However I have no idea why I don't. They just...aren't there.
