Libracor
Interesting concept, aside from minor grammar errors (but honeestly, I'm not one to talk), but can you explain a bit just how anti monsters work? Does it have levels/ranks/something new? It looks promising, I'll give you that.Definitely following this one.
The Fallen Pony
The Anti Mosnter are Extra Deck monsters. The do have Levels, but they're Negative Levels--and are presented via Rank Stars. To Anti Summon, you send from the field to the Graveyard 2 monsters whose differense in Levels equal the Level of the Anti Monster you wish to Anti Summon. For this card, (since it's a Level -2) you send 2 monsters to the Graveyard whose differense in Levels is 2. And it doesn't matter what the Levels for those two monsters as long as their Level differese it 2. And you cannot use Xyz Monsters to Anti Summon since they have a Rank. Anti Monsters use their abilities more than regular mosnters and generally have low if no ATK and DEF. The more Negative Level Star (or lower its Level) the weaker its ability (and higher the ATK and DEF), and vise versa. Does that help, or do you need more info on these? Flash Flyer - Sakura
When you post a new card Type/mechanic, info about how it works must be in the first post. Otherwise, it'll prove difficult to gauge it with respect to existing stuff. (You explained it though, now just put it alongside the stuff you already posted) So in essence, smaller monsters are more of the strategy players here; whereas the larger "boss" monsters are mainly beatsticks; seems logical. In terms of the existing card, it basically summons a Token you can either suicide into your opponent's boss monsters (or destroy others if needed) or use for Synchro Material. Not sure if this would go well with 64 though, but this mechanic seems promising. I look forward to seeing future monsters. (Just make sure you keep the updates in main post, and not post them all over the place)
Spinny
2 questions... A. Do these work with pendulum monsters in their pendulum zones? (if so would they be sent to the extra deck instead...??) B. can u mix a anti-level with a plus level to create a bigger anti-leveled monster.??? Libracor
I'm assuming that an anti-monster in a synchro summon would lower the materials' overall level?
Radiant F.U.R.Y.™
I'm assuming that an anti-monster in a synchro summon would lower the materials' overall level? If thats the case, it would make level 1 synchro monsters viable...interesting
Libracor
Through the clever abuse of abilities that reduce the total level of your monsters, level 1 synchros are plausible. Say you have a level 1 tuner and a level 1 monster that can increase the level of 1 synchro monster while it is in the extra deck, and wears off when it's summoned? Just musing here. Libracor
Would a card like burden of the mighty increase an anti-monster's ATK? And also, have you thought about anti-Xyz and anti-Synchros?
richbonner93
This is pretty much like Dark Synchro Summoning in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds series (in that case, a Dark tuner has a negative level and the Dark Synchro Monsters have a negative level also). As already stated by many others, this opens up a lot of more interesting Synchro Summon plays. Next time (like Sakura said), it would be best to type info about your new mechanic in the topic starting post rather than someone question about it. It also helps if you give some pointers as to how this new mechanic will affect the game.
