CLG Klavier
The next time a source of your choice would deal damage to you this turn, prevent that damage. If damage is prevented this way, Deflecting Palm deals that much damage to that source's controller.
Trebuchet MS
It doesn't target, either. Bypasses shrouded or protected creatures. Would be hilarious if it reflects a fireball. Too bad a single effect which is all "damage can't be prevented this turn" just cuts right through it.

.Rai
So, the durdle turtle has a Sultai watermark, and this doesn't have a Jeskai watermark? Most irritatingly cryptic watermark guidelines ever.

Flame Dragon
Seriously, why isn't this a Jeskai card? Maro was saying they didn't watermark all the cards becase of intro decks and what not, but this is a rare and its notl like it would be in two. Anyway, pretty sure she just broken his hand. Sixty
The thing about watermarks is that should this card appear in say, the Temur intro deck, then WotC didn't want it to be a strictly Jeskai card that was awkwardly sitting in the Temur deck. That's why Mindswipe, Utter End, and Sagu Mauler don't have a watermark either. MaRo said the watermarks only appear on three-color cards, cards with the clan's keyword, and some others. It's possible that means 'cards with morph' are then given a designated a clan, but the conflict between Icefeather Aven and Sagu Mauler makes that confusing. Sixty
Exactly, what's this? It's possible that means 'cards with morph' are then given a designated a clan, but the conflict between Icefeather Aven and Sagu Mauler makes that confusing. By some others I meant the weird things like Towershell and whatever is yet to come. Icefeather Aven looks definitively set in the frozen area of Tarkir, which is Temur territory. Sagu Mauler appears to be in a jungle, which would be Sultai, but it's also a huge creature which is Temur's thing. Mauler can easily go in both. There's got to be some sorting system with all these one-offs.Well, that's not true. The Sagu Jungle is definitively Sultai territory. It wouldn't be a Temur card just because it has 4+ power. Flame Dragon
See, what leads me to say this should be Jeskai is the fact that the art focuses on a Jeskai monk.
Gokai-Red
Plus is a Kungufukai technique... EDIT: Oh now I notice the thingy in the art lol, that Orc must have cried like a little lady after that
Sixty
See, what leads me to say this should be Jeskai is the fact that the art focuses on a Jeskai monk. And not just any monk, but Narset herself. I'm also inclined to say that it's Zurgo getting his hand obliterated. But this card fits into a Mardu deck to protect from backlash just as easily as a Jeskai deck would use it as a combat trick. I blame the intro decks for watermark goofiness. Simping For Hina
So, this reflects combat damage? Not just combat damage. It could stop a Jeskai Charm, etc.
NeoRWBY65
I realized how painful this can be when I imagined it being used to stop a Monstrous Colossus of Akros attack and bouncing it back. I then mention it to my friend and he now really hates this card.
