GOATSNAKE
You cannot Special Summon monsters, except for Warrior-Type monsters. Negate the effects of monsters destroyed by battle with Warrior-Type monsters you control.
asterr259
Straight forward and to the point, not bad. Not many cards(That are still played) that activate on destruction though. Competitive aspect aside, nice.

This card is totally sweet against them, and since it can be ROTA'd it might make for a decent tech in a Sideboard for such a matchup.

Or am I confused on something?
Sander
Well don't flip effects go off right before they're destroyed? Or am I confused on something? When a face-down Flip Effect Monster is attacked, during damage calculation the monster is flipped face-up, then it is determined whether or not the monster is destroyed by battle. Near the end of the Damage Step, before being sent to the Graveyard if it was destroyed by battle, the Flip Effect Monster's Flip Effect activates and resolves on the field, if the timing is correct. If the monster being flipped by this attacking into it, and the flip effect monster would not survive the battle, then the attempt to activate the effect will be negated since the monster was destroyed by battle, even if not sent to the Graveyard at that point. Thanks, actually did not know that. Then in that case. This card is pretty legit. Well worth the price of denying special summoning, being RoTA and TWRA material. Running Solid might also be a good idea.
