[NEW!]Elysium! Collapse of the Divine Dimension [9/11]

That's a remake of an old archetype I've had and uploaded here long ago.

Crashing into the universe from the heaven of Elysium - they deal in effect negation, banishing and removal. all in a sequence.

Calipse negates, Bicerost destroys, Scythan banishes, and one more beast to be revealed, completing the cycle. ;)

One more thing they share in common, is that they can banish themselves to avoid being hit. As in, for example, Infernoid Nehemoth is summoned and uses it's effect to destroy all monsters on the field? they chain and banish themselves, and return during the end phase (in case you didn't summon them this turn.)

Calipse.jpg

During either player's turn, you can activate any of the following effects:

  • Banish this card, Special Summon it during the End Phase.
  • Banish 1 "Elysium's" monster from your hand or Graveyard and target 1 card on the field; negate that target's effects. You can only activate this effect of "Elysium's Calipse" once per turn.

Bicerost.jpg

You can only Summon 1 "Elysium's Bicerost" per turn and only once that turn. When this card is Summoned, destroy all face-up cards whose effects are negated. During either player's turn, you can activate the following effect:

  • Banish this card. During the End Phase: Banish 1 "Elysium's" monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card.

Scythan.jpg

You can only Summon 1 "Elysium's Scythan" per turn and only once that turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard; this card's ATK becomes equal to the banished monster's ATK until the end of the turn. During either player's turn, you can activate the following effect:

  • Banish this card. Special Summon it during the End Phase.

The supporting monsters:

[NEW!]

Toadshrine.jpg

If this card was Normal Summoned: You can Tribute it; add 1 "Elysium's" monster from your Deck to your hand. If you control no monsters and the only monsters in your Graveyard are "Elysium's" monsters: You can Special Summon this banished card. If you do, shuffle it into your Deck during the End Phase (even if it is no longer face-up on the field).

Letsung.jpg

You can discard this card to the Graveyard; add 1 "Elysium's" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card was banished; You can send 1 "Elysium's" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

[NEW!]

Protegao.jpg

FLIP: You can return any number of banished "Elysium's" monsters to your Graveyard. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by a card effect: You can add 1 "Elysium's" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card was banished: You can add 1 "Elysium" Spell / Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.

Spells & Traps:

Divine_Incarnation.jpg

This card is also treated as an "Elysium" Spell Card. Target 1 "Elysium's" monster you control and send it to the Graveyard, then Special Summon 1 "Elysium's" monster from your Deck that is 1 Level higher.

[NEW!]

Sacred_Box.jpg

This card is also treated as an "Elysium" Spell Card. Activate only if you control no face-up "Elysium's" monsters. Special Summon 1 of your Level 4 or higher banished "Elysium's" monsters. Send that monster to the Graveyard during the end of the turn (even if it is no longer on the field). You can only activate "Pandora's Chest" once per turn.

Moirae_s_Weaving.jpg

This card is also treated as an "Elysium" Trap Card. Activate 1 of the following effects:

  • Target any number of monsters on the field, up to the number of your banished "Elysium" monsters; negate their effects until the end of the turn.
  • Target 1 "Elysium" monster you control and 1 monster your opponent controls; change the Battle Position of your monster and banish your opponent's monster.

Needless to say, they are perfect with "Transmodify". and since they're fairies they get advantage from "Celestial Transformation" and "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" aswell.

discuss. :)

These look amazing did you do the art yourself?

The Monarchs StormForth would be amazing in this.

I only have 1 problem, only letsung has an effect that activates when its banished?

Prot is pretty underwhelming since it has to be flipped-face-up and its second effect should activate when its banished really.

really feels like the archetype would benefit from a field spell aswell.

You need more effects that improve consistency.

good cards you did well ^^

Thanks much bro. I wish I knew who made the art though, I wish.

you're right. should I add an effect to protegao or make the current (second) one to trigger when banished?

Field Spell? OH. that. is one of the next cards actually  keen eye lol.

great suggestions thnx.

These are so incredible!

I've got 1 question: What program was used to make the cards? Also, A Moirae's Weaving is slightly op because of it's banishing ability, but also powerful against current meta.

#CombinationWithTheSpiritBeasts

In comparison to that card its not that overwhelming at all.

prot should gain a banish effect AND become level 3, i mean i get what you were doing, but who is gonna transmodify into a support monster?

Maybe give some effects onto things that happen when they are special summoned? Rewarding you for using transmodify?

OR Give them effects rewarding you for using The Monarchs StormForth and make them do things when normal summoned?

I would love to see more than 10 cards to be honest since they are so interesting.

We need more main monsters! By that i mean another level 4 and maybe 5 or 6 for consistency reasons.

We need someway to recycle/summon them banished support/main monsters because otherwise this deck is gonna fall flat on its face.

Hope i was helpful ^^

Thanks :) I use photoshop, with Grezar's template. Google it, it's wonderful, he did a great job.

You were, oh boy you were. Can't thank you enough dude.

  • I've redone "Protegao" he now does different things, more vital to the deck. (I think of changing it to "Protegeo" as it's a word play on "Gao" and "Protege" and that was pretty hard to figure out, should I?).
  • "Elysium's Toadshrine" got revealed. It'll play a bigger part with the next cards.
  • "Pandora's Chest" got revealed.

Notice the new clause on those cards, in which effects can only be activated while you control no "Elysium's" or no monsters at all, this plays with the Elysium's banishing mechanic.

As in, you banish them, use the effects, they return during the end phase as part of their effect. You eat the cake and leave it whole. ;)

It was actually 11 cards, not 10 as I thought at first as I forgot "Toadshrine". Guys your support is awesome! discuss.

2 more cards left.

Was toadshrine meant to be level 4 but was made level 5 by accident? Its effect activates on normal summons only, which is weird considering the whole deck is kinda revolving on the transmodify axis...

Plus now the support monsters levels go 2,3,5 which destroys the axis a bit. Again i still think we are gonna need 1 or 2 more level 4's and maybe a level 3 that boosts consistency.

A qliphort disk card would be fantastic, requiring 2 tributes and summons 2 elysium from deck but they are banished during end phase.

Pandoras Chest is really mediocre, it even has a restriction to controlling no monsters on an effect that should really be like a gold-sarchofagus card IMO, boosting consistency and tiny amounts of power.

Toadshrine needs to gain the following effect,

"When this card is special summoned (except by its own effect) you can tribute it to special summon 1 elysium monster from your deck that is 1 level higher than this card."

It will especially need that effect if it stays at level 5!

If you upload the cards publicly on DP then i could probably critique them better since i would be able to play-test them.
