(GigaDrillBreaker)
When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Geargia" card: You can Special Summon 1 "Geargia" monster from your hand or Graveyard in Defense Position, except "Geargiano Mk-III", but its effects are negated. You can only use this effect of "Geargiano Mk-III" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except "Geargia" monsters. Last friday, I decided to start playing the game again IRL. Going to the local game store, I bought three of the geargia structure deck. Frankly I was in it for Geargiaugur, and I wanted that just as a TTGL reference, but I must be honest, i have fallen in love with this. Summoning this off of Mk-II gets you Gigant XG, and summoning it at the end step off of a Geargiagear gives you an easy double Gigant X. This card is pure gold. Discuss this wonderful little gearbox. As has been said when others have reached it, 1000 posts is the point of no return, so you all are stuck with me and my stupid decks for the long haul. Darj
Congrats on the 1000 posts, I guess. On Topic: I can't say much about the card. I have not played Geargias and I rarely see Geargia decks when I watch duels on DN, and when I happen to encounter them, I don't remember seeing them playing this. But just from reading it I can tell it is really fun, although it looks like that last clause should get in the way sometimes. If it instead allowed the Summon of Machine-Types you would have been able to go for Zenmaines when you couldn't get 3 Geargias for Gigant XG. 玄魔の王
It's cool to get off Geargiagear, but that's about it. XG is Kinda bad as it is.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
XG looks mediocre, but it gives 0 fucks while attacking, stops floaters, stops silly things like Marshmallon, and with the help of mk2, can effectively float into another of itself. Furthermore, aside from soul charge shenanigans, Mk3 is the only way geargias can reliably summon it. By the way, why is it holding up more than 3 fingers? 玄魔の王
XG looks mediocre, but it gives 0 f***s while attacking, stops floaters, stops silly things like Marshmallon, and with the help of mk2, can effectively float into another of itself. Besides, why bother with XG when you can spam 3 Gear Gigants in one turn?
(GigaDrillBreaker)
The marshmallon was a joke. More realistically, on DN at least, it would be a Diva lock. Furthermore, the engines required to spam gigant x leave enough deck space for XG stuff, so why not both?

Furthermore, the engines required to spam gigant x leave enough deck space for XG stuff, so why not both? Because it ruins consistency and because Geargia only goes for triple Gigant on turns they plan to OTK. The rest of the time they turtle and build card advantage.
