~Faytl~
I really wish this card had as much love as Blue-Eyes did. Sure, we got REDMD, but that's generic dragon support, not direct Red-Eyes support. Really the only thing this guy has over Blue-Eyes ATM is that it's level 7, which means it can overlay into stuff like Big Eye or Dracosack. What kind of support would it need to become a bigger threat? Discuss?
goddamnit names are a pain
Let's see... it has 2400 ATK and 2000 DEF. It's a level 7 DARK Dragon... /thread
Blue Eyes hardly became a bigger threat (the deck is not relevant at all and never was, but it still got better) and they don't have a real way/purpose to do so with this. Something that SS this from anywhere and more searcher support/special summoning would help…that's what they had to do with Blue Eyes and Dark Magician(sorta). It would be like doing the same thing again…with level 7s. Not needed and it won't make it relevant. Meh.
Toffee.
I really wish this card had as much love as Blue-Eyes did.You realize that this card's strongest counterpart warranted list attention, compared to Blue-Eye's strongest one, which didn't.That tells you something. Greiga
A structure deck called "Temple of the Black Dragon" that would have a 3-headed version, a Synchro version, and a Warrior version (Paladin of Black Dragon). There you go Konami, I just gave you an idea, make it happen. Iirc, BEWD still has more forms than this.
newhat
Similar to what Ain said: Most of the cards that support this also support Blue-Eyes. The few that do not are better used on Effect Monsters. The one exception, Carboneddon, doesn't do enough to make it worthwhile.
Bringerofcake
Guys Just make more support for the fusions/make more fusions. Dark Magician has an xyz Blue-eyes has a synchro They should push the fusion aspect a little harder for rebd.
newhat
The Blue-Eyes Synchro is contingent on being able to Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and there's a Tuner for it that makes this easy. Dark Magician's Xyz is incredibly top-heavy and requires a ton of setup to work. Meteor Black Dragon is just Meteor Black Dragon.
