gmaster1991
Majora's Mask (This card is used to Ritual Summon "Majora's Wrath". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total levels equal 6 or more. During your Main Phase, you can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; take control of it until the End Phase, but if you do, only that monster can attack for the rest of this turn.) Majora's Wrath (This card is always treated as a "Mask" card. You can Ritual Summon this card with "Majora's Mask". When this card is Ritual Summoned: Special Summon 1 "Moon Token" (Rock-Type/DARK/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 4000) in Defense Position. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase, put 1 Doom Counter on a "Moon Token" you control. When this card is removed from the field, destroy the "Moon Token" Special Summoned by this card's effect. When a "Moon Token" you control has 3 Doom Counters while this card is face-up on your side of the field, you win the Duel.) Masked Jungle Warrior: Odolwa 2 Level 5 monsters (You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, Insect, Plant, Pyro, Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster on your side of the field that is owned by your opponent. (If that monster was originally an Xyz Monster, Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If you do, decrease the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls by 500. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to Special Summon any number of "Swamp Beetle Tokens" (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 500/DEF 500) in Attack Position to anywhere on the field, but you must Special Summon an equal number of monsters on each side.) Masked Mechanical Monster: Goht 2 Level 6 monsters (You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Dinosaur, Fiend, Machine, Psychic, Spellcaster, or Thunder-Type monster on your side of the field that is owned by your opponent. (If that monster was originally an Xyz Monster, Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If you do, inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card in their hand and for each card on their side of the field. This card can attack your opponent directly. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent by a direct attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to change it to Defense Position.) Gargantuan Masked Fish: Gyorg 2 Level 7 monsters (You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Aqua, Fish, Reptile, or Sea Serpent-Type monster on your side of the field that is owned by your opponent. (If that monster was originally an Xyz Monster, Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If you do, this card is unaffected by card effects during the Battle Phase. Once per turn, during the Damage Step, if this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to make it attack once again in a row.) Giant Masked Insect: Twinmold 2 Level 8 monsters (You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 Dragon, Fairy, Rock, Zombie, or Wyrm-Type monster on your side of the field that is owned by your opponent. (If that monster was originally an Xyz Monster, Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If you do, you can Special Summon 1 "Giant Masked Insect: Twinmold" from your Extra Deck. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to switch the original ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field.) Terminan Fierce Deity 1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1 non-Tuner Ritual Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters (Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When a card effect is activated that targets this card, you can banish 1 "Mask" card from your Graveyard; negate that effect. Once per turn, you can Tribute "Mask" monsters on your side of the field to increase this monster's maximum number of attacks by the number of monsters Tributed for this effect. This effect applies until the End Phase. When this card attacks, send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard. If that card was a "Mask" card, double this monster's ATK during the Damage Step only.) Clock Town (Once per turn, when the effect of a "Mask" card is activated on the field, the controller of that card may add 1 "Mask" card with a different name than the one activated from their Deck to their hand.) Because of the announcement of Majora's mask 3D, I have decided to bump this thread again.

OCG seemed fine.. I guess I'll leave that to other members. Thanks! I tried to make them both accurate to the lore of the game as well as to be reasonably balanced. The strategy with these cards is to basically take control of your opponent's monster and then 'possess' it with one of the Masked Xyz Monsters for their bonus effects. I might need to add some non-Extra Deck Monsters to the mix later to make use of Clock Town.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
Like I mentioned to the last user, you need to write something related to the design of at least one of the cards in this thread; as the Advanced Clause dictates. What do you like about the cards in question, in regards to effect/design/flavor or whatever?
Cosmo.
Being a fan of the legend of zelda series, i love these cards. You did a really good job on them, they just need more support, since right now fierce deity and clock town are almost useless. The ocg seems perfect! I love them

I wonder what "Mask" monsters I can put in for the Main Deck... Maybe something like "Masked Helmasaur: Hiploop", though I can't find a good picture of one on the internet. I also figured players could just use cards such as "Mask of Restrict", "Mask of Brutality", or "Mask of Darkness" as well.

Mad Hat Magician
Quite an interesting set. I particularly like how you incorporated the Terminan Moon in the effect of Majora's Wrath, as well as the fact that it counts as a mask still. The alternative ways of summoning each of the bosses, which fit the in-game concepts of each of the characters. The Terminan Fierce Deity seems interesting, quite an interesting synchro summon requirement. Though, I find it somewhat odd that it is a dark attribute monster, given he is meant to be the antithesis of Majora, and not a divine or light attribute monster. A slight suggestion might also be to incorporate his respective mask, however that is optional. All together a well put together and interesting set that feels like it could easily be a real set. Thanks! If you were wondering why the Fierce Deity was considered a DARK monster, it's because of the description of its mask in the original game, "Could this mask's dark powers be as bad as Majora?". As for the lack of an appropriate 'Fierce Deity's Mask' card, I was basically just steering away from the game's lore a bit for the sake of gameplay options. I didn't want to make it a Ritual Monster because it would play too similarly to Majora's Mask. Instead, I made it a Synchro Monster that requires a Ritual Monster as a synchro material, since you could possibly use 'Majora's Wrath' as the Ritual requirement. This could be fitting since Majora was the one who gave you the mask in the game, but only after you jumped through a lot of hoops and obtained all of the other masks. In this case, the player would have to jump through a lot of hoops to control a Ritual Monster, a Synchro Tuner Monster, and another non-Tuner monster whose total Levels equal 12 just to summon something that could possibly win the game in one turn with its ATK doubling effect and/or multiple attacking effect. I also tried to make these cards in a way that a player would not necessarily have to use all of them in a dedicated Deck. Just like the actual card game, you can mix up different types of cards to perform different strategies. For example, if a player has either 'Mind Control' or 'Snatch Steal' in their Main Deck, they could possibly side 'Masked Mechanical Monster: Goht' against Qliphoth, Shaddoll, or Burning Abyss as an efficient 1-for-1 trade off against an otherwise top tier Deck. (Long message, huh..?)
