Valkyrus
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Luminous Dragon Ritual". You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" from your hand or Deck. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card. > searchable by Rota > tribute Manju for a -1 instead of a -2 > Ritual Spell can be banished from the grave as well as being activated from hand > laughs at Skill Drain > is a "Photon" so you can Dragon Mirror it into Twin Photon Lizard feel free to add more. I like how ridiculously consistent this can be right now. If only there were more good Rank 8's.
Lonk
With how it is right now, it's the best Ritual Monster to use for Sophia.
Spinny
> laughs at Skill Drain so this card's tribute to summon dragon eff works whilst its effs are negated? If so you could actually instant fusion > noden > this > 3k atk dragon. I think 3x Rites would be better than 3x ROTA because of the extra effect. It's the same thing with cards like Lonefire, Stardust Dragon, etc. Skill Drain is the EXCEPTION to effect negation, not the rule. It specifically only affects face-up monsters. If the monster is not face-up at resolution, it will not be negated. Effect Veiler/etc negate the effect if activated from the Field, regardless of where the card is at resolution. Rites and Rota can both search this so it only makes sense to run both. Besides, Rota can search other relevant things too whereas Rites only searches the ritual and you would want the ritual spell in the graveyard most of the time anyway. So they are pretty even here. evilfusion
thats not what i meant, Effects that just outright negate a monster's effect will still keep this thing negated. Skill Drain is the only thing Paladin can bypass, due to Skill Drain's weirdness. In any case, I've always been disappointed in this card. It and the Ritual have their little perks, but it doesn't make Galaxy-Eyes more consistent. In fact, it makes Galaxy-Eyes LESS consistent. The draw effect is pretty cool, but a 1900 Level 4 Ritual is still going to struggle to kill most things in battle without costing more resources than it can hope to recover. Still, if Noden becomes TCG legal, that combo mentioned seems like a 1 Card Prime Dragon [Insert other crazy Rank 8] to me. That's insane. That seems worth it. Albeit that there are some flaws, but still. If you can pull it off
