Seems balanced Its actually Defense Position, the rest is also correct in this card - i guess he basically copied it from Vanity's Emptiness not sure about the "nor" part though About that card. Yup its basically a Vanity's Emptiness that isnt based on Special Summoning but on Summoning in Defense Position (Btw, you could just make it "Neither player can Summon monsters in Defense Position" kinda thing i guess) Nothing to creative, but it sure is helpful if you're running a deck, that is based on attacking while not being to good at piercing through a strong defense so yeah + it counters a certain annoying deck. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted November 16, 2014 Report Share Posted November 16, 2014 PSCT is a pain in the ass to write at times, but from the looks of things, seems like it's written properly. With that said, it essentially screws with Shaddolls (considering they like to flip themselves down + trigger like hell at times), Ghostricks (to a similar degree, but probably not as much), some stall decks and a host of other things. Of course, it doesn't prevent said monsters from Flip Summoning themselves + triggering first, but they're blocked enough. In a way, players will either need to rely on powerful ATK monsters or card effects (backrow) to keep themselves protected, while this exists. Can't really say anything else about the card (whether or not there are flaws that I missed), so it's not too bad. I guess this is a hate card for Shaddolls and Gravekeepers. To be honest, I do not see why you want to make hate cards anyway. Hate cards are for sore losers who cannot play properly. VampireofDarkness Posted November 17, 2014 Report Share Posted November 17, 2014 Contrary to other beliefs, I find Floodgate cards to be rather cute at times if designed right, and other times can be downright hilarious. Other times it just becomes a typical hatred card. Sometimes it does all of these. Looks like this is one of those The humor in this card is not just how using this as a side card puts Shaddolls in an awkward position, but also puts yourself in the same way. It becomes not "Did I win yet?", but. "How can I take advantage of the moment?" Because of this, you would need the right Deck to abuse it. What Deck could use this card so fabulously? Satellarknights! Satellars already get awesome effects when summoned, but having a card that provokes you to ALWAYS Normal Summon them, this gaining effects everytime, just is icing on the cake. You can still do Altair-Deneb or Altair-Vega-Deneb no problem, so it becomes more of a question to Shaddolls of "What you got?" Not only does this tempt Shaddolls to go into Level 6 Synchros and Rank 4 Xyz thus making them lose out once Triverr hits the field, but they also are losing out on Shaddoll effects. Just imagining the fireworks of a successful Triverr with this card out...... Overall, a very relevant card that, while not the most original, happens to be the most amusing.
