A simple Rank 5 monster. Nothing much else to say here.

2 Level 5 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 LIGHT monster you control; this turn, if it attacks an opponent’s monster, at the start of the Damage Step, you can destroy the opponent’s monster. If this card is targeted for an attack: You can Tribute this card; negate the attack, and if you do, destroy the opponent’s attacking monster. you can only use this effect of “Lightburst Pegasus” once per turn.

It looks decent but I cannot but compare it with the Rank5 Keepers; they even have the same ATK.

Adreus can be faster with the removal effect, can also target face-up Spell/Traps, but cannot target face-down monsters and lacks a 2nd effect unlike this card.

Tiras attacks more safely with its built-in protection backing it up, but cannot get over monsters with 2600+ ATK.

This sits somewhere between the 2.

I guess the card is fine: It is as good as the Keepers, but has a different purpose/niche, which is cool because I think it is difficult to make a generic Rank5 that is not outclassed by either of those 2.

As Voltex already mentioned, it's on the same Level as the Keepers but has a different usage; in this case, destroying your opponent's monsters (either by its own hand or another LIGHT's).

Playability-wise, any Deck that can spam Level 5s easily can certainly make use of it; though first effect would more or less limit it to Constellars/Artifacts (probably missed some other R5-heavy LIGHT Decks) or itself [which isn't necessarily a bad thing].

Giving a monster the ability to pop whatever it strikes is handy, especially in cases of stronger monsters + things that can't die in battle.

In terms of the second effect, while it does cost this card its life, it at least allows you to take a problematic monster with it.

Otherwise, like the aforementioned Adreus/Tiras, this card has enough ATK on its own to run over a lot of things (it has 200 more DEF than the two of them, if that means anything useful).

Overall, I like the card and can't really find any flaws to it.

(On an unrelated note, may I ask where you found the pic?)

EDIT: nvm, found it during a Google Image search: http://static.zerochan.net/Celestial.Landing.Pegasus.full.1486647.jpg
