Cantrip

Quickplay Spell

Select and activate one of the following effects:

1) Banish this card. During the next End Phase, set this card.

2) Send this card to the Graveyard. During the next End Phase, return this card to your hand.

3) Shuffle this card into your Deck, during the next End Phase, draw a card.

"You can always cast Cantrips"

This is one of those dumb card ideas I get without any idea for a specific use, but it amused me. If you have something that triggers when your cards are sent to the Graveyard, Banished, or a (quickplay) spell is activated, you could use this. It's Quickplay, so it can bait removal.

This card seems a bit too situational, as (especially in higher tier decks) very rarely do you see trigger effects of which you described.  Honestly I think the only reason this may be played is for the (3) effect since they have basically an infinite draw 1.

I find it interesting in a casual Level. You basically escape destruction with it with 1 and 2, depending on your theme. Be it get extra hand for something like Slifer or IDK, banishing for Gren Maju Da Eiza or Soul Absorption once per turn. Also, either of them will give you a reliable +1 each turn in Spell Counters, which is great by itself as a concept.

The biggest issue it has is potential infinite combos if it was to be the only card in your Deck. This is situational but it does make for an infinite Spell Counter, and infinite LP (and infinite burn along with either) loop. This is easily preventable by a hard "once per turn" clause", although it'd probably kill your flavor text.

Overall I think it does have a use, even if it wasn't made with one in mind.

The 'infinite uses' part is avoided by saying 'next End Phase', so if used during the End Phase you must wait a turn.

so let's start by saying that I love this idea. If you really wanted to push this you could make a couple of cards based off 0 levels and have them banish and return, but that could also go too far.

As for the card itself, it has some interesting applications. not being once per turn means that you can have all sorts of these flying every which way if you can manage it, but also it seems like spell counters could benefit from having cantrips going every turn. Soul Absorption doesn't mind giving you a small boost every turn, and there are probably cards I'm not thinking of that don't mind having something banished. If exodia weren't a thing, i'd even say that the draw effect wouldn't have to happen at the end of the next turn, and could be a generic "not a dead card" card. it's cool as a small thing, but that doesn't mean it isn't cool.

Did not notice the third effect was also "next End Phase".

Yeah card is overall great. I'd make a Spell Counter deck for this, really.
