Sleepy
Actually I can find a few uses for this card xD Fire Kings can have some fun with it, as well as some floating cards like Shadolls and Dandylion. and it doesn't just destroy from your hand but also gives you the chance to top-deck something else and thin the deck, increasing the chances of having something combo. I'd say it is pretty much perfect for the script of an anime duel. Though I think it'd be good if it destroyed 2 cards from your hand instead of all of it. That way it is a -1 (because destroying just 1 would make it a deck thinning +0 draw staple) that still lets you keep some hand afterwards when you are not desperate for it. Just a small suggestion. Trebuchet MS
Really beast for dark world! Getting cards in your hand destroyed is not the same as getting them discarded.
NitroX
Ahh forgot its cost.... mb go go. It should be 'discard' not destroyed if it were to play under dark world. Also its a bit too fast for it too. So, is it okay if you rewrite its effect like: Pot of Destruction, Draw 2 cards, then discard 2. If I kept your effect, but change it into discard. Its a super fast, very quick on destroying your opponent's monsters, traps/spells, even hand! Its nearly the same as magical springs, except you draw 2, and discard the equal amount. I agree with sleepy though. At least keep the cards that you have into your hand while you discard 2. This way, you avoid over powering the DW deck, if u choose if it is applicable there. I know I'm not a pro to help out. This way you won't get bombarded by either Sillva, Gold-wu, or grapha being pulled out on the same turn. The discard versus destroy in this case allows DW to be played. But also correct me if I'm wrong, but is discard also a cost? If not, it would be a nice addition to DW or any cards that rely on being discarded by hand. I may not be right, but I think u can get more plays if it were discarded rather than destroyed. Not all instances of discards appearing are parts of cost. It all lies in how the card is phrased. If it appears before a semicolon, that's a cost. If it appears after a semicolon, or if there are no semicolons to begin with, that's part of the effect. Also, may I remind you of Graceful Charity, and how similar it is to your proposed change? There was a time when it coexisted with the early Dark Worlds. It was also very powerful in that Deck. Making a slightly depowered clone of it, even if it drew 1 less card, is still asking for trouble.
NitroX
Heh, I never knew that's what I'm making lol! I just don't like the idea of discarding the entire hand after drawing 2 cards. Yes it might be a powerful engine, but it may get OP. But try, I may add that into my DW deck! Lol
