~Faytl~
Your opponent must discard 1 card from their hand for each of your turns that this card has been Set. Though initially a touch slow, this thing is actually a really powerful effect if your opponent doesn't blind MST it. Discuss?
newhat
Hearthstone-ass effect if discard weren't "anti-fun". Reasonable on a digital simulator but not something you can track in real life...It's potentially very strong against Pendulum-reliant Decks who can't win in the intervening time. Azuh
I like how there was a rumor that this card was potentially already printed but only UDE employees before Konami took over only have the remaining copies
~Faytl~
I think that was Power Balance, which was used in the same duel in the anime and was WAY more broken.
evilfusion
Life Shaver's issue is that you have to keep track of how long a card was SET. Most players won't do this, and most methods of doing this reliably would require you to essentially reveal the fact you're doing it. It's not something the game state normally tracks on its own (such as whether a Trap was Set that turn). It's also stupidly OP, because it's a discard effect that gets exponentially stronger. There doesn't seem to be an activation condition, so even if this card was a Continuous Trap that accumulated counters each turn, after it reaches "discard 2", it's just unfair and can be used essentially any time. And yes, Power Balance was printed, but never released (at least from what I heard). That was the Trap that made your opponent ditch half their hand, and you drew the same number of cards. Miror B
I want it to be made just so I can set artifacts then start counting turns.
