Flash Flyer - Sakura
I like it. Harpe's banishing effect is way OP but its awesome. I know this isn't Advanced, but you need to explain a little about how it's OPed. Is there something the TC can do to fix it, so it's not broken but retains flavor. Anyway, Harpe grants more offensive power to your monsters; including banishing whatever monster the equipped monster fights with. Indeed though, you probably won't need to banish them (considering a 1000 boost can more/less help get over most things; unless you're fighting something that cannot die in battle; in which case it'll help). Quoting .Saber from the design guide, you should watch out for banishing monsters, especially when it's a free choice for you to do it with this card. Aegis essentially turns whatever monster it's equipped to into a nearly unbreakable wall; unless opponent can bounce/banish it (or just blow up Aegis itself) or they have enough power to inflict piercing; but really depends on what you use it on. Both of these cards are a bit OPed in their own right; one essentially means your opponent needs to find another way to kill it outside of straight up battling (though effect removal is still common) and the other requires you to bounce/banish the equipped monster. That being said, if you opt to use both of them at once on a single monster; you've essentially given it +1000 ATK/DEF, the ability to banish whatever it fights (at your discretion) and protection from everything except banishing/bouncing effects. (Or 101 in the case of an SSed monster) I like both of them, but personally feel that they can be toned down a bit; or a higher cost to equip them. Minato Sakai
would a 2000 life point cost be better? i gave it a banishing effect because i thought that making it a pseudo catastor wouldnt be good enough and is this something i could post in advanced? Flash Flyer - Sakura
I really love amazing: o I know this is Casual Cards, but you do need to give reasons why you like the card(s). As for the other question, 2k LP should be a fair cost. Regarding the comparison to Catastor, keep in mind that Catastor can't blow up DARK monsters + only destroys; whereas Harpe banishes whatever you decide to fight with. Hypothetically, you could post this in Advanced, given it can indeed work well in the metagame to mess with common things. I know, there really isn't a definitive line between these two sections; except for that one member's definition, but some don't take them highly however. Minato Sakai
2000 life points should be good because it limits how many times you can use each or maybe i could make the equip effect once per duel. ill make any changes once i get home. im staying at my relative's house and i dont have my computer with me. Spinny
Art and stuff like that reminds me of artifacts which is definitely cool. Union Pendulums is also a unique idea so thats pretty damned cool aswell. I think youve more-or less sorted the balancing issue, only thing that is really an issue is that i wanna see more :S GJ anyways ^^
MetalRock547
I think the 2000 limit is good because if you have a card that allows it to attack all your opponents monsters at once then... Anyway, there aren't very many cards that shuffle from the banished zone into the deck or puts it bak into the grave so it will shut down pretty much every deck there is (unless the deck has necroface). Plus you can splash it into every deck. The deck gaining both the ability to special summon to the high limits and the ability to banish (because if they're destroyed, you can pendulum summon them back on the field, then equip) or defend. If they're in the grave, they can equip. These are the reasons for me thinking there OP. They might not be compared to Chaos Emperor Dragon but they're still powerful. Anyway, I'm not trying to sound like a whiner so I'll stop typing soon. They're awesome. See ya!
