My vote is the same as last time, since Xerneas is on my kill list, Latios gets my vote by default. It did the Hydreigon-Houndoom one from Round 3 last time, so probably higher than we thought. (Although Hydra won that one) Suppose the RNG really wants to torture me by making me kill off a nomination by my own hand, even if I am guaranteed one Poke in the semifinals. But still, Latios takes it for a variety of reasons; a few being for the same reasons I like Latias (and for the Soul Dew one I have named after me; considering my personality is somewhat similar to him). Xerneas is also awesome, but not enough to overtake Latios. (Again though, the ideal situation would be another tie, but that's probably not happening again) Either way, I'll be happy about who wins. But yeah, let's see if the tie gets resolved in some way; RNG's been having a penchant for re-run matches lately. Xerneas is doing extremely well this time around; GPT 2 had it knocked out in the prelims, but it's in the quarterfinals now (although fighting another of its comrades for the second time) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had the impression that people didn't like it so much but I've grown to really like its design. ...And learning about how powerful its Power Herb+Geomancy strategy was, just the icing on the cake. I really cannot say how things would've turned out if it had. Indeed though, Xerneas is cool. Not too thrilled with a 0 HP one, but at least I can go mixed on it when I need to. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted January 4, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2015 I'm not going to complain about another tie, though hopefully this doesn't become a 3-part episode in the semis. But yeah, 7-7 tie again. At least Psychics get a stronger foothold in the tournament than they did in GPT 2, but then again Fairy does too (a major improvement). That being said, Latios is still the only Dragon remaining in this tournament; given no one nominated Rayquaza this time (or if it was, probably died out earlier on) We can only hope that the matches are randomized enough so it doesn't happen, though there is the possibility that Round 6 will yield Arcanine against one of these two; or they kill each other in a 3-way battle. In a 7-7 match, both the Eon dragon of Altomare and the Kalosian fairy god move onwards to Round 6. And in other news, Psychic/Fairy have advanced farther than they did in the previous tournament with this victory (although another tie). Latios: 別の引き分けだ？ RNGの女神は本当にオレ達の両方を進めるためにしたい 、そうだね？ (Another tie? The RNG goddess really wants us both to advance, doesn't she?) Xerneas: うーん、はい。それは状況が今であると思われる。我々のどれもが、再びお互いを殺すために必要はありませんしなかったことを嬉しく思います。 (Hmm yes, it would appear that is the case right now. I'm happy that we didn't have to kill each other again.) Latios: オレ達は戦いを続ける。仲間達のために、誰がオレ達に参加できなかった。サァ、行くぜ！第六戦いへ！ (We'll continue to fight on, for the sake of our comrades who couldn't come with us. Now, let's go! Onwards to the sixth battle!)
