1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Insect-Type monsters
Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can destroy 1 Insect-Type monster on the field, then Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard to either side of the field. When this card you control is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Insect-Type monster from your Deck.

Great.

This can destroy itself, get the materials on the field - synchro another >>> repeat until all 3 end up in the Graveyard.

then soul charge. and repeat for any generic Synchro, Xyz, etc you ever dreamed of, it's hilarious really.

+"You can only use each effect of "Aksak, the Ultimate Insect" once per turn."

If so, then it can be really neat, it summons, destroys itself to assemble itself into any 2 insect monsters of your choice, then go either rank 4, 3, 2, 1 or any Synchro you wish.

It's like those cartoon robots that break down and transform into whatever.

i didnt think of that. ill fix it in a bit

Actually, by your wording, it doesn't Summon two monsters by committing suicide. Since the effect is worded ", then SS the Insect," the Special Summoning is the last thing to happen when the game checks for a chance for the floating effect (the other SSing effect) to activate. Because this is a "When ... You can" effect, it can miss the timing, and does in this case.

As for the card, I hardly know anything about Insects now, but should a Level 4-centric one come out, the kill+SS effect combos wonderfully with Traptrix Myrmeleo. I'm not too fond of the floating effect being able to Summon any Insect monster, but a quick check shows that there aren't any particularly threatening cards to toss onto the field this way as of yet. At most, you have some Inzektor things (how they make Level 8 Synchros IDK, I haven't played with them), Scary Moth (Shaddoll Winda), and the random Myrmeleto to act as a MST.

Had this been something like Warrior or Machine, it would instantly be broken, but as an Insect-Type, it is pretty good support for them, but the main problem is that Insect-Type Decks aren't really geared towards Synchros all that much, from what I have seen of them, they are more of a Rank 4 Deck, though I still appreciate the support this card gives them. It isn't really what I would call balanced, but as said, it at least can't Summon by destroying itself, but it's still a floater that pulls out any Insect-Type monster, and I don't really like floaters all that much, but I doubt that Konami will make Insect-Types powerful anytime soon, so it can probably stay as it is. The art is bloody fantastic though.
