When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Target up to 2 Level 4 or lower Zombie-Type monsters in either player's Graveyard; Special Summon those targets in Defense Position. Their DEF becomes 0, also their effect(s) cannot be activated while face-up on the field. You can only activate the effect of "Box of Fiends" once per turn.
From the 2015 Winter Open.

I hit a bit of a brick wall when trying to work out what Zombies can use. I normally start creating a card from its image, but after a bit of flipping through and many rejections I settled with a Box of Friends clone/pun. Being able to pull out from the opponent's Graveyard offers Zombie World synergy, but to rein in potential combos and keep them temporarily vulnerable, they come back with 0 DEF in Defense Position, and there's a once-per-turn-per-copy clause to prevent Box from indefinitely reviving itself.

The original version of this card had 2000 DEF, and triggered only when destroyed by battle. Apparently that was slightly counterproductive, as voters noted that not only was it a bit slow in the game as it is, they'd be forced to crash with it - and with 0 ATK it's rather painful to do so. I've changed the effect accordingly and halved the DEF to make said effect easier to trigger. But is it too easy now, given its rewards?

Be a pro and revive 2 Goblin Zombies. Or Goblin Zombie and something like Pyramid Turtle. Either way, you can still get some usage from this because Zombies have a few cards that can work around this card's gimmick of keeping the monsters from activating their effects while they are face-up on the field

The fact that he can spec himself and copies of himself seems broken to me, maybe add in  "in either players Graveyard, except "Box of Fiends";".

Or make him a Fiend-type making it harder to summon copies of himself.

Or just make him a level 5, otherwise cool effect for zombies.

I had considered the possibility of Box pulling itself back from the Graveyard, but the once-per-turn-per-copy clause should prevent players from theoretically triggering it infinitely within a single Battle Phase.

the fact that it can pull 2 copies of itself is insane to me xD

That seems rather pointless though. It's not like Troop Dupe Scoop where you're actually getting anything out of it. You're just getting monsters from your Graveyard, and Goblin Zombie is a better target. Anywho, As a voter myself, I must say this is a step up from the original, easier to trigger, and the potential is now real. Either you are saving yourself a turn (Which is certainly good), or you are crashing for an offensive play. Either way you can't lose that much, so you win like T Pain and get closer to that big Oni-Uni-Mezuki play. Can't say that's a bad thing can you?
