AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Well, for a 2mat4, its ATK is too high. There are a few 2mat4s that can hit 3k, but they don't give you SSing power. Or offer themselves pretty potent protection. The SSing effect needs to be monitored heavily, especially since you can grab a monster from your Deck or Graveyard. Notably good targets include Armageddon Knight, Blue-Blooded Oni, Jinzo - Jacker, Summoner Monk, and plenty more. A lot of these can easily continue combo plays (the Oni can Xyz again for free), and this having a ton of ATK means you can easily combo into OTK plays. Or, if you don't want to do that, it protects itself from destruction. And the occasional non-destroying send-to-Graveyard effect. This gives you immunity from BTH, TT, and a lot of removal in the game, and your opponent would only do so if only to try and stop you from looping this with Oni or whatever. But even if your opponent can stop the loop, you still get your 29 beatstick (and whatever you want to SS, if you don't want to save the mat for another protection). The ATK needs to drop a good 600-900 points, the SSing effect needs to be monitored so that you know exactly what you can Summon with this (so you can't do dumb things like loop with Oni), and you might want to drop the protection effect. Or you could instead drop the SSing effect (really, Xyz monsters that can Summon other monsters that could be potential Xyz fodder tend to be looptastic like this) and have this be some sort of 2400-2500 monster that can guard itself against destruction by detaching materials. At its least, it'd bait your opponent's nondestruction removal cards.
ezra627
well it says 1500 atk or less but my number 110 should be in 1000 - 2000 attack
Flash Flyer - Sakura
You're missing the point. Even with an Attribute restriction, 2900 ATK on a 2-mat Rank 4 is still too high. For that matter, it outclasses many of the 3-mat Rank 4s that can get this strong; examples include 104, 32, Gagagigo the Risen (save for 50 ATK + Vanilla status), Bujinki Amaterasu and so on. Hell, this card has enough power to take out a lot of the Rank 5 and 6 card pool. In today's game, getting 2 DARK Level 4s out is not that hard to do. As ABC mentioned, you need to drop its ATK considerably, with regards to its SSing effect which can set up some stupid combos (as noted above). Does Tour Guide from the Underworld sound familiar? At the most, 2200-2300 ATK should be fine for it. Factoring in its last effect, it essentially carries a 101-clause on it (if you know what 101 does, this should hopefully ring some bells). Basically, it does way too much for the minimal effort needed to make this; especially with the consideration that Pendulums can/will facilitate these summons A LOT faster. Flavor-wise, Number monsters have some sort of significance/backstory as to why they have their Number value; that appears not to be the case here. - Minimania -
If this were to ever curse the OCG with it's presence, Noden Sophia will become absolutely crazy.
