Usually she wears it in a braid that she keeps behind her to keep it out of her face. Along with her fiery red hair, Faye is also extremely pale. She wears a black t-shirt on her top half, and black tight jeans on her bottom half. She wears black military grade combat boots given to her by her brother, who used to be a Marine. She has multiple tattoos and a long scar on her forearm from when she was attacked by a dog when she was seventeen. Her most obvious tattoo is one of a wolf running down her forearm, along with one howling on her back. She carries her two knives Nox and Umbram at her waist in a double sheath on her left hip. She wears a black stainless steel ring on her left index finger and a wolf tooth necklace that she never takes off. On each of her forearms is a single scar, marking the contract she made with Invidia that day she swore that she would have vengeance. Personality: Faye is looked at as cold and unfeeling to those who don’t know her, but she is just very closed off. Every time she got close to someone something happened to them, whether they betrayed her or she moved. It got to the point that she just stopped trying to talk to people. She grew lonely and depressed, knowing that if she tried to get close to someone, something would happen, whatever it may be. But on the inside, when you grow to understand her better, you see a warm heart that cares deeply for people she cares about. Although she is slow to trust, when she does finally trust someone it’s an insanely deep trust that will stay in her heart forever. She tries to keep everyone safe, sometimes even at the cost of her own safety. But if you betray that trust she had, she will turn on you and become you most bitter enemy. Weapon Type: Dual knives Weapon Morph: When Faye combines Iustitia and Vindicta, they come together and become Iudicium- Judgement. It takes the form of an executioner's ax. It's shorter than most of them, coming up to Faye's shoulder when it is grounded. Black chain wraps loosely around the head of the ax, though not around the edge of the blade. The haft is black oak, and the blade is a deep red color. When she wields Iudicium, her eyes go from tinged red to full red, and she has to actively suppress the screams in her head to take revenge and kill everyone. Weapon Details: Iustitia and Vindicta, Justice and Vengeance. They are ancient blades that date back to Roman times, blessed by the goddess Invidia. They were given to Faye when she swore vengeance against those that killed her father. The strength of her desire led to Invidia, the Roman aspect of Nemesis, goddess of Vengeance to appear. They made a contract that day, granting Faye the Blades of Retribution. Faye swore to take vengeance, but to hold herself in check and not let herself be consumed by the desire. Biography: Faye was born on October 29th in a small town in Maine. She was raised by her mother because her father died serving in Afghanistan. Going through school she tried to make friends, but when she was 7 she moved to Arizona, where she spent the next 4 years. Once again, she tried making friends, but she was quiet and shy, and barely a year after that moved yet again, this time to Massachusetts. After three months, Faye and her mother relocated again. PReceding this move was her fathers death at the hands of a sniper in Afghanistan. She swore at her fathers grave that she would have revenge for it. That night she dreamed she was on a battlefield, running for her life. Bullets whizzed around her, and she saw the sniper, saw the glint of the setting sun on his scope. She saw the muzzle flash, and then she woke. Throughout the next few weeks she had that same recurring dream. Then one night she took a weapon from the ground and fired back at him. When her dream self shot him, a massive thunderclap shook her dream, and an old woman appeared, a serpent coiled round her and biting her heart. She bestowed upon Faye the Retribution blades and to this day is inside her head, urging her to take vengeance. But Faye knows her day will come, and so she waits for the moment to seize her revenge. He has a tanned skin color, amber eyes, a scar beneath his left eye and a noticeable fang on the right side of his mouth. He wears special bullet-proof black hoodie, t-shirt, and jeans with some special light durable "Metrionius" sneakers. He also wears a holster from the right side of his belt in which he has his Springfield XDm 4.5" and a strap attached to his sniper he keeps on his back. He has his knife hidden in his other jean pocket. He has a backpack in which he has medical supplies, ammo, a flare gun and flares, some flashlights and some miscellaneous items. He wears some special gravity modifying fingerless gloves which he has spikes attached to the knuckles to stab people with. He has some night vision goggles too, but usually leaves them in his backpack since they blind you if your hit with light. He also wears some skull shaped ear buds which he uses to ignore the world around him. Personality: A quick witted teen who smiles half the time, he is quick to make a joke or make some idiotic comment to make other happy. Although he may not sound like it he would gladly pull out his gun to shoot a family member's replica considering he "hates" his family (explained below). For some reason though, when he has a gun in hand, or has a threat before him, he becomes an emotionless killer, who will shoot, stab or just plain massacre the enemy. Although barely revealed he those have a dark side. When he is reminded of some of the horrible things from his past he quickly goes berserk, and attacks the nearest enemy, most of the time even destroying the enemies corpse to finish unleashing his rage. Even though most people describe him as insane, he thinks of himself as a, quote, "Hero of those oppressed by rules and suffering!" This usually leads him into some drastically dangerous situations. Although he acts like an average person he can be highly manipulative, and strategic. He likes to hide this due to the trouble it brought him back at his school years. Weapon Type: He uses an Accuracy International L115A3 sniper rifle, a benchmade 8600bk knife, and his signature gun, the Springfield XDm 4.5" 9mm handgun. He also uses his arm (shown below) to fight, but usually never. Weapon Details: Arm of Awesome Mechanical Engineering [spoiler=appearance][/spoiler] This is an incredibly upgraded mechanical arm hidden in Luke's hoodie and t-shirt. It was given to him after having lost his arm during a hunting trip due to an infection (or better said avoiding one). It has been modified to the point that it has machine guns, rockets and, of course, a high density plasma blade created from a "Nuke Energizer Mega Engine MK II" which was made in his own time-space place thing. It is made of a special metal called "Metrionius" which can withstand a nuclear powered mana blast with a minor scratch at most (same doesn't go for the user unfortunately). It also gives him the strength to lift 30 tons. Biography: The second son to an ex-military father, he was always a rebellious kid. He had a rough childhood because he had to deal with his excessively insane father who always made him and his brother survive never ending onslaughts of different training situations. He was always bugged by his father to be more like his serious brother. He always proved to be awesomely talented to his father, but he didn't care. Luke had a hard experience at school because of his military family. This lead to cruel treatment and a semi-aggressive nature. He became a sniper expert at the age of 7 because of him having to be transferred to a special school for gunners. He was critiqued by his father for being a sniper because he hated cowards. One day during an annual hunting trip with his family, he had to cut off his left hand to avoid having an infection kill him. When he returned he got a robotic hand which he continuously upgrades with weapons (like small machine guns and rockets). He uses it to fight by punching people or shooting them. Later on he killed his brother due to having been drugged by his "best friend", who was actually an enemy soldier who was trying to kill Luke's father. This led to Luke being hunted down for 3 months, until it was proven that he had been drugged, and the charges were dropped. Luke then secretly assassinated the enemy soldier. He then had to deal with the memories of killing his brother, but avenged his brother's secret wish, be happy and have some fun. One day, during yet another annual hunting trip, he fell in a small time-space void thing in which he was sent into the barren wasteland of this world. He grabbed all of the stuff that was spilled from his backpack, from the hunting trip, and his guns, and gets ready to survive his release from a hell of a life. [SPOILER=Tetsuya Kousaka] Name: Tetsuya Kousaka (高坂哲也) Age: 18 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: A teenager with slightly darker skin tone with dark hair, preferably the Asian type. He measures himself at six foot four inches and weighs himself in at nineteen stone. Tetsuya has heterochromia at birth, so therefore he has two different coloured eyes. They are blue and brown on his left and right eye respectively. His face had nothing too much to mention, really. He has a scar next to his right eye that was on the verge of healing and braces on the bottom half of his jaw, which was also on a verge of being taken off, however it would be a while before that ever happens. Like James Barker, he has bandages around his torso, but because he's already so strong around his arms, he doesn't wear them excessively. He may look strong, but physically he looks like any other slim Asian character. He wears on top a tee-shirt, nice and clean as well as a shirt that looks casual, but it was meant in the end as a casual shirt. Something that he would wear everyday. On the bottom half of his body, he wears formal trousers as opposed to jeans. He does bring them to the journey though, but he never actually wears them unless he doesn't want to dirty his formal trousers. Finally, he wears trainers purely because of the nature of the journey he is about to take. Any optional clothing would include gold gauntlet gloves, which he takes with him and wears most of the time especially throughout the winter, and also a few change of clothing that he may as well use, especially when going underwater. Yes, Tetsuya's forte is Water. Personality: Tetsuya has a darker personality than James or Meguri, but he is however willing to break boundaries and have a lighter side to him. Although he may be stoic and rude, his attitude can be changed so he can be nicer to the people he really cares about. Like the former, Tetsuya likes to explore different worlds. This one especially likes to explore barren worlds or ones that have reached post-apocalyptic stage. He can be cocky when it comes to fighting as well. Most of the enemies he face are underwater, so he fights from there. Whenever he sees people fight on land, he would watch and learn from them. An alternative would be that he fights underwater and he would teach people how to swim or fight fishes, piranhas or other beings that are able to swim, especially replicas. He is quite strict to the sense that he wants his camp mates to develop their abilities to their utmost potential but when it comes to his closest relatives dying, he wouldn't take it lightly. Not at all. In fact, he would become quite emotional and blames their deaths on himself. Despite the bad personality Tetsuya tends to have, he tries his best just like James to maintain a better personality and have less of an attitude problem between his peers. According to most people, Tetsuya tends to be a cryophile, since he loves going underwater. In actual fact, he is just as adept at fighting on land as he is fighting underwater and it was because he was born next to the beach that he developed interest in water itself. Weapon Type: Dual Death Spinners [SPOILER=Weapon Details] Weapon name: Daedalus and Diabolos Appearance: Similar to a set of ring blades, these two blades are filled with dark aura and has four small blades and four larger blades all around each ring. The design of the blade is very much similar to Ron's Dual Layered Spinning Blades, and the layout is similar to that of Bao Sanniang. However, around the outside, they have references to Lightray Daedalus and Lightray Diabolos, with pictures of them attached around them. The size of the blades are just about larger than his hands and with hidden cords attached to each ring blade, basically like a yo-yo. When morphed, the two spinners merge into one and become a familiar in reference to Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo Daedalus. When the familiar in question is summoned via morphing, it will most likely fight on land and so Tetsuya would follow on and do the same. If it fights underwater though, Tetsuya would stand aside and watch from behind to avoid getting injured. Weapon Background: This weapon layout is derived from centuries ago, hence the similarity to Bao Sanniang's Spinners that appeared in Dynasty Warriors 7 onwards. However, the weapon has only just been produced recently by Tetsuya himself, in terms of design and aspect. The experts however, finalised his design and created a weapon that references the two dragons, both of light and both from Yu-Gi-Oh. The weapon was produced so it can be used to fight, both underwater and on land. The weapon had only been around for two years, some time before the start of this RP, so it was deemed brand new. Some even wanted to mass produce the weapon for other people's use, though this has not yet been confirmed whether or not it should happen. Elements: Light & Water Previous Owners: None [SPOILER=Exclusive Abilities] Water Manipulation - Manipulates the water element and drowns nearby enemies. Doom is Near - Traps an enemy with a Doom counter. A specific countdown is fixed onto the enemy and if it goes down to 0, the enemy dies. [/SPOILER] [/SPOILER] Biography: A Japanese teenager born within the lands of survival, Tetsuya Kousaka grew up next to the beach, three hundred kilometres away from the scene of the RP. Although his blood is from Japan, he wasn't born there. He wasn't familiar with the real world setting. He grew up with his siblings but other than that, he had no family. Out of the three children left behind by his parents, Kousaka was the second eldest out of his siblings. When he was five, he began to learn how to swim in the deep end, allowing him to develop his future as well as his fighting skills. His siblings are especially strict at the time, especially his eldest who was about fourteen at the time. When Kousaka was ten, it was about time he fended for himself, so his siblings also left him behind for the sake of survival. Since then, Tetsuya would provide for himself, hunting wild animals and bringing home fresh seawater from across the beach. However, since he grew up next to the beach, he had little to no education. He was homeschooled by his siblings before they left and as well as that, he taught himself various survival techniques. After Kousaka's siblings have left, he began homeschooling himself, often going out to hunt for food. He hasn't been eating very well in his life either, his diet consisted of only fish, wild deer meat, venison, piranha and wild root plants. The latter two doesn't taste good, but at least he got used to it as his life progressed. At the age of fifteen though, he stopped homeschooling altogether and focused his life entirely on hunting, cutting off communication completely from the outside world, even now... At the age of eighteen. When Tetsuya looked at the letter he got through the mailbox, it was telling him that he was invited to go on a dangerous journey. Of course, he accepted but the question from him really is, 'What would I be able to get out of it?'. He ,wouldn't be able to know until he actually got into the area and so he leaves his home place after packing up his stuff and heads over to the survival camp where he had just 365 days to live. Unfortunately, as a latecomer, he had even less time to live, meaning he had just 362 days as soon as he sets foot on a very dangerous adventure. One that he would not forget again. Although he would prefer not to talk about how late he was entering camp, his main mission is to take out replicas capable of swimming underwater and teach other camp mates how to swim, in case they didn't know. However, even though he is a survival camp native, can he survive 362 days of Absolute Hell, or will he die a not-so-tragic death from swarming replicas who are 6000% stronger than they should be? She wears a black and reddish pink jacket, socks, skirt and black boots. She wears a light pink shirt and a black undershirt with hearts on it. She also wears pink headphones, black fingerless gloves and a golden hairpin of a heart. She also wears her mask [Shown Below] and has her sword strapped to her back. She keeps a small book of the spells she was taught in her jacket's right pocket. She has sharp pink claws on each hand which she uses to fight when her sword is inaccessible. When in intense combat her hair turns white and her eyes turn blood red as for her claws they turn black. When she gets sad her hair, eyes and the pink parts of her clothes turn blue. She also has an alternate set of clothes for fighting she keeps in her own personal pocket dimension along with some other stuff. This alternate is a full black set. A black hoodie with a white shirt with a heart in the middle, a black skirt and her regular boots. When/If she bleeds her blood is golden and her spirit form is her in her regular attire but fully glassy and in pink. Ai measures 6'7 1/2 and weighs 130lbs. Personality: A girl who likes anyone who isn't a nerd or a wuss. She will trust everyone no matter what, even if they don't appear trustworthy. If you cross her though, run for your life. She's an incredibly happy person most of the time. She continuously flirts with just about any guy she meets. Her cat instincts are what drive her to do idiotic stuff like getting distracted by fish or milk and hating dogs. She loves eating fish, candy and meat. She loves playing around, watching anime and playing games. Some of the little bit of stuff she doesn't like is wusses, nerds, dogs and water. She's that happpy, non-caring kinda girl. She prefers to make friends and leaves combat as a final option. Even though she prefers not to fight, she does fight savagely, attacking anything in her way, even her friends. Weapon Type:Magic Sword, Magical Neko Mask Weapon Details: Lovely Fang. An enchanted sword made of the metal of gods. It can create light and fire (because that's an awesome mix). It can manipulate flames too and cut through nearly anything. It was wielded by the Cat Goddess's royal knight and was given to Ai by the Goddess herself. [spoiler=Appearance][/spoiler] Mask of the Neko Gods ~ A mask that allows the wearer to manipulate their energy to enter a different plane of existence and warp between the physical plane and the astral plane and allows the user to move amongst them. The user may also see through stuff and to see the aura people emit. It was used a long time ago by the Cat Goddess. It was then given to the Neko temple to protect it. [spoiler=Mask][/spoiler] Biography: A maiden of an old temple goddess's temple, which defended that bond between spirits and Earth. She took care of the ancient temple her whole life, until her 13th birthday, when she was kicked out for falling in love, a sin amongst the other temple women who believed men were useless. She then left the temple, taking the most important relic in the temple with her, the Mask of the Neko Gods. After taking it the temple collapsed, having lost it's blessing. The mask then transfered it's power into Ai, who became a neko after this, and a guardian of death. She studied magic for next year, while hitting on multiple boys every day. Following her lessons, she enrolled into her nation's military, until she actually had to kill. She hated seeing innocents die for not following the nations idiotic rules or paying the unjust taxes. She decided to leave the army, and began to make amends and asking for forgiveness from the families of the deceased. She was later on attacked by an elite soldier that had a grudge against her. This led her to have to put on the mask she had taken from her old temple, and use it's powers. This in turn caused her to disappear for a couple of years. Although not a single person saw her she was still there in the astral plane. She then trained until she learned how to control the mask and her new sword, given to her by her master, the Goddess of Cats. She taught Ai how to use magic and how to control her cat instincts. Ai took it upon herself to then protect the good people, and punish the wicked. Weirdly Ai noticed that she had stopped aging at 16 when she exited the Astral plane. This was most likely due to the cosmic energy emanating from her mask and sword, since they never aged, broke or rusted due to their inability to interact in time (don't question just accept). Ai then left the Astral Plane and entered the wasteland that is the Earth now. She has no idea what's coming, or what's next... Thunder NetMonsters are also up s***'s Creek without a paddle against Earth NetMonsters... In her former world, Ice NetMonsters (Which can also include the element of Water) deal neutral damage against a Thunder Dragon and vice-versa unless their Species is either weak or strong against the monster in question. The thing I mentioned about water conducting electricity is a scientific fact that may end up coming into play if underwater fights happen, not anything she herself has anything on. Also, about her 'affiliation'... She's the oldest character in this RP, at least a decade old. My finding her original RP for the GCRP was a miracle in and of itself. Also, Water Resistance acknowledged. I'll go ahead and add that in tomorrow as well. I'll also add a speed meter for replicas as well as bosses. This will help others predict how they're gonna take each replica on and devise a strategy for each boss battle. Speaking of bosses, the next one is Lingering Darkness, who is a LOT quicker than the first boss. That bugger appears in Day 5, so not long for them. Tesability Black...is actually older than YCM. There is no finding her origin here. If I, in my youthful ignorance, hadn't attempted to create a separate RP board for the NetMonsters when it was first announced that a virus had destroyed all copies of the source code for the program she was born in, Tesability would have never made it into the GCRP.
