1 "Shaddoll" monster + 1 WATER monster

Once during either players turn; when your opponent summons a monster, you can Banish that monster. During the End Phase you activated this effect: That card returns to it's original position. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Shaddoll" Spell/Trap card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.

So ya the effect is worded weirdly... b/c I didn't want shaddolls to miss their timing on discard. Also it returns so really it isn't as powerful... but it isn't able to be negated... all you would stop is the discard. And if you negate till end phase... you're monster is gone for good so ya. Idk... thoughts?

So... we already have a Water El-Shaddoll in Anomalith. That aside, this card's effect is far too powerful, completely stopping the opponent from using monsters the turn they summon them, and making plays nearly impossible.

Furthermore, the character in the art is Emilia, rather than Gungnir. Gungir is very dead.

I assure you, it most certainly is Emilia. Emilia later became "dance princess of the nekroz" and wore the Necloth of Gungnir. The character is still Emilia, she is simply using a suit of armor made from Gungnir's remains.

Anyway, here is a link to Anomalith on the wiki.

As for balancing the effect... I suppose it would be best to limit this to special summoned monsters at the very least, so as to stay within the theme.

Leaving aside the conflicting flavor around this card (there is already a WATER El Shaddoll, Level5 is already taken by Midrash, and artwork doesn't resemble a Shaddoll at all, and El Shaddolls get a new name instead of adopting the name of their original form), I agree with Ri-Class' suggestion: banish Special Summoned monsters to stick with El Shaddoll's anti-Special Summon theme plus it is less disruptive as the opponent can still make its big monsters and recover them later. However, It would badly hurt Xyz-based decks, but most El Shaddolls hurt certain mechanics/decks more than others (e.g. Egrystal stops Pendulum, Anomalith hurts Necloths, opposing Shaddolls, etc.) so I guess it would be acceptable.
