so i love th idea of luck based cards but my favorite is dice so i came up with these guys (srry about how long this post is). please tell me what you think, both positive and negative criticisms accepted.

 

Dice Kingdom

field spell

"all monsters on the field become level 7, when you roll a die/dice for the effect of a monster place 1 "die counter" on this card. once per turn you can remove 7 "die counters" from this card, inflict damage equal to the combined ATK of all face-up level 7 monsters you control."

 

Die Fairy

"once per turn roll a six-sided die,this cards atk is multiplied by the result until your opponents end phase. if the result is 6 this cards ATK becomes 3000."

"when these cards are on the field this card gains these effects, dice dragon: roll a six-sided die this cards ATK becomes equal to the result x1000 while "dice dragon" is on the field. dice king: roll a six-sided die, if the result is a 1, 2, or 3 destroy one monster your opponent controls, if the result is a 5 destroy 2 spell/trap cards your opponent controls, if the result is a 6 destroy all cards your opponent controls. dice queen: this card can attack your opponent directly. you can only activate one "dice knight" effect per turn and only once that turn."

"while "dice knight" is on the field this card and "dice king" cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. once per turn banish 1 monster from your graveyard, this card gains effects based on the level, 1: this card gains 1000 ATK. 2: destroy 1 card your opponet controls. 3: your opponent can only attack "Dice dragon" you control until their endphase. 4: roll a six-sided die, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the result x300. 5: your opponet discards their hand. 6: this cards original ATK becomes 3000 until the endphase."

Obviously a very risky theme. At times this set can be rather powerful, but will often lack consistency, even with the ability to re-roll dice. One question: If the set revolves around a six-sided die... why does the first effect make all the monsters level 7?

Just a hunch, but I think the level seven move is to dodge the effect of Dice-nied and maybe to XYZ summon #7 Lucky Straight (since it fits in pretty well)

Ok. It's official, I need to stop posting around midnight. Because just a couple hours ago, I was on ygopro trying to come up with a deck that works well with #7. And the two cards I have in the deck are: #7, Dice-nied. >_> oh I will be killed by irony before getting run over by a truck... Just to clarify, everything you said makes sense... I got to get some sleep. XD

thnx for the feedback! and as for consistency with rolls thats what dice genie is for since he lets you pick the result instead, i also wanted to add a search card but wasn't sure what to do

actually just thought of this when i came here to check something but it also can mess with your opponent's extra deck as far as synchro's and XYZ's are concerned since it says all monsters on the field not all monsters you control.
